1st impression on using iOS 11 beta : UI is quite refined. More rounded edges for icons & apps. The font looks a bit nicer. Volume seems to be a bit louder than previous. Though it does show some lag, perhaps due to initial stage, otherwise it is still usable.

Yes I'm currently using a Ringke case needed a transparent so my skin is visible haha! I think it should fit however be careful because the tight case when you put it in will distort the corner of the skin if you didn't stick it properly.
*
I was at 1 Utama yesterday and almost did it. But then, I thought if it were put into the Mous case, for sure it will get ripped or distorted. Then, I didn't do it though I wanna do it badly (I like the red so much)

Hi everyone.
I am fortunate to be moving over to iOS from Android.
Is it true that there is no free way to move WhatsApp chats over?
Thanks.
*
Congratulations! Yup, there is no free way to move it. Best option is to use TransBackup.

I think it will be okay as long as the skin at your phone's corner is applied firm enough because the corner is pressured quite rough during sliding it into a case  hmm.gif
*
How was the quality of the skin applied at that shop? If they use quality 3M stickers just like DBrand or Slickwraps, then it should be okay. Given it's more or less the same price.

Just installed skin at Mojo Skin 1 Utama. Here are my review of it:

1. There are 2 type skin they displayed, one type is 39.90 while the other 49.90
2. The skin’s cutting is very rough & honestly very bad (considering I have to pay additional 5.00 for installation)
3. The material of the skin is quite okay & not comparable to DBrands or Slickwraps
4. If you installed red skin, from a far, you can fool others as if it’s the real deal product red, but open closer look it will show the ugly finish of the skin.

In summary; if you have extra $$ to burn, then go for this ‘quick fix’. Otherwise, get proper skin from reputable source, Mojo Skin is not worth it.

As long as the payments are done promptly, there shouldn’t be a problem.

Try one of the gadget shop at Low Yat, top level. Can’t remember the name but they do have plenty of choice with cables & chargers.

Me too bro. I've switched to ip7+ from a Nexus 5 about 2 weeks ago. Been amazing so far except for:

1) 100mb app update restriction
2) youtube app cannot choose quality
3) can't access wifi settings directly from notification centre.

Other than that its been a pleasant experience. Smooth all the way, no hiccups. Battery life is superb.
*
Wow! Nexus 5 user? That sure is a sweet phone. Performance & price in a good pack. One thing iPhone definitely beats Android in general is on the battery life. Simply gets you hooked up on long battery life without lugging powerbank everywhere.

Perhaps Green & Blue is too busy building more tower that other so called telcos can leech in which gives them double incomce (own user + other telco users) for 1 price. Malas to flip the switch for VoLTE or VoWiFi coz 1. Will congest the data line. 2. Will make people take cheapest package with lowest data pack coz can use WiFi.

My sister in law just bought from digi today. Request for tempered glass but unable to stick at upper right corner. Sales guy said its because of tempered glass issue. So we left and went other shop for tempered glass. Unfortunately same issue. Came back digi store and they replace new phone.
*
That easy? Consider lucky that they are willing to do a new unit replacement on the spot. If you buy from Machines for e.g., any flaw after you paid and opened the unit must be sent through service. No instant replacement.

Not really. The practice is even if the box is opened, when there is something not right with the phone, so long as you have not stepped out of the shop, you can request for another set.
*
When I bought mine at Machines KLCC, the sales guy said this to me. Once the package is opened, it has to follow the replacement / repair procedure. Again, maybe it can differ according to the retailer or sales person.

not really. If in brand new condition and again there is defects on the product, it means that it is a lemon set.
There is no reason for a customer to accept it.

If me, I will certainly demand for a brand new replacement.

A lot of merchant set a lot of terms and conditions by their own such as no return or no refund etc. It does not mean that in law whatever they say it just simply count. Consumers need to be aware of self rights in order not to be "bullied" unfairly.

I purchased a USB-c multi adapter from a Apple authorised dealer in lion city before. The adapter USB port was having prob which it does not recognise my USB device if the device is 100% plug in. But if 75% in then sometime it detected sometimes it did not. So I went back to the shop the next day to demand a replacement. Again the staff insisted that any problem I need to bring down to Apple service center. I told them that this is brand new item and it is less than 1 day of purchase already had problem. And I told them if I can go to Apple service centre and they can do it too. Why would I do it? They were reluctant to change for me. But I was very firmed and eventually they got no choice but to change one for me. I tested the new one was working before leaving the shop.

After that, I never buy anything from Apple authorised dealer which I would rather buy from Apple online instead since it comes with free shipping anyway and within 14 days no matter what item even a cable I can also get replacement. Even dead pixel or light bleeding etc one can also request for replacement.

I knew that a lot would want to get credit card 0% interest installment etc so they buy from the shop. Too bad bolehland Apple Store does not have it.

But lion city Apple online no issue. Even education pricing can get credit card 0% interest installment.
*
Perhaps if the buyer makes a big fuss, they will do something about it. They are resellers after all, for them priority is on profit, customer service comes next.

My nephew ask me to look for iphone 6s with budget 2.5k. Then I look around and found got someone sell brand new ip7 32gb at 2.6k, push a bit my nephew and he took the deal. Then suddenly the seller got 2 unit for sale. I was tempted, I'm not sure if 2.6k is considered below average or average price for ip7 32gb, considering ip8 is not far from now.

After few debate about to buy 2nd unit, in the end, I took both. Cost me 5k+ total.

This should be good deal? No?
*
if it's too good to be true, just be extra careful to check the phone thoroughly. Good luck with the new iPhone!

If you don’t mind the quality of the photos you take, just use Google Photos app. Free unlimited storage for photos at High Quality setting. At least it supports multi-platform.

No, they rented a space for the warehouse sale and the queue management was horrible.

That’s a bummer. Was the promo prices that much low than RRP? Worth the queue?

If you're up for buying either an ex-display unit or EOL model then yes, it's worth the queue. Otherwise I wouldn't bother smile.gif

Damn. I thought it will be waay cheaper than the store hence the ‘warehouse clearance’ sort of sale. Guess it is to be expected for Apple items.
