Something that is never done anymore is over engineering, over building, many of these engines were made a lot stronger and tougher than they need to be , just for quality purpose

Now everything is pushed to limit as much as possible, thinner , cheaper, to keep profits high, it doesn't need to last forever

Even got problem oso, its cheap and easy to fix. Audi every repair minimum few K.

Btw TS, Audi & VW is the worst 2nd hand car to buy. U wan, buy new. Nvr ever buy 2nd hand Audi or VW cars.

2nd hand conti cars are usually bad investments, and Audi's service is notoriously bad (now has improved abit) after warranty make sure you find a good mechanic that can service it. My 5 yr old q5 is still ok but the first two yrs was a nightmare when it was eating up engine old for no reason, had to overhaul and it took Audi glenmarie 3 months+ to get it fixed, they even refuse to acknowledge the problem initially.

I hope you didnt go below 50km left before pumping petrol.

All the errors and real problems will come out, cant even engage gear or reverse, I ask my mechanic why like this, he said cars with High Pressure Pump is like that. Unlike Japanese cars that cruise to a stop if no petrol, with a car with High Pressure Pump, you will be in a world of hurt (heartache).

Audi & VW almost the same both sucks for me. Anyway 70k mileage is kinda high already if want to buy 2nd hand buy below 40k mileage
