Sold it off at 100k to an Australian expat that was considering between the latest 1.8 B8 Passat and this and eventually picked a more fun car.

My 8 year old 2.0tfsi same engine vw all the time go above 200 okay jerr

Just change mechatronic la, find or trade in at any vw audi specialist, or halfcut

That's what you get when you buy a USED car bro. No matter what brand is it. Sometimes it's just your luck. Fork some money to get it repaired and continuously drop in money for maintenance and she will be healthy as new.

lol kesian u got lemon car, i bought a 2nd hand conti car diff maker but same 2.0l turbo same 2011 year as ur car 2 years ago n drove above 200kmh many many times before but my car still ok until nw biggrin.gif

for ur car it looks like the previous owner got the same error and quickly sold the car to 2nd hand dealer biggrin.gif , n u took the bait whistling.gif

Am in the car line and most agreed that A4 is a great car. But once the warranty ends, it will cost a bomb to maintain it.

If it must be an Audi, better get those with Aisin gearbox or the CVT gearbox.

Just replace some key parts in the transmission n suspension.. She ll be as good as new.

Golf GTi? I know the previous owner, not through dealer also. Dealer won't even sell me at 111k despite it being a lemon

My father's A8 really problematic. It's only few years old too. Recently air suspension of front left side failed while driving, car was almost on the floor lol. Quite scared of VWs and Audis now.

yup, the dealer even cheated on the mileage n its 90k++ mileage when i bought it, spent a few k to fix some parts which spoiled after i bought it but for now the gb n engine still ok, driven almost 40k mileage since i bought it

ur car might need alot of money to fix, prepare at least 10k to fix it

A friend of mine also suffer gearbox issue like u. Happenend when he tried to reverse his Audi A5. The cost to replace around 12k-15k. Luckily still on warranty at that time

Dunno bout audi but for peugeot that day kena gearbox malfunction cannot go above 3rd gear, pump full full error cleared by itself. TPMS also failed and found a specialist to turn the system off since the sensor cost RM600++ for a single wheel
