2nd hand conti cars are usually bad investments, and Audi's service is notoriously bad (now has improved abit) after warranty make sure you find a good mechanic that can service it. My 5 yr old q5 is still ok but the first two yrs was a nightmare when it was eating up engine old for no reason, had to overhaul and it took Audi glenmarie 3 months+ to get it fixed, they even refuse to acknowledge the problem initially.

The TS"s problem is mechatronics failing, very common problem at 80k-100k mileage. The part cost around 10k+ to replace. All German brands become money pits after 5 years, so far out of the big 3 German brands Audi gave me the most problems, mechatronics problem, water pump failure, radiator puncture, front wheel arms rubber fail, fuel injector problem, oil seperator problem, even the radiator fan can break lol. 8 years old, got rid of it after the repairs.
Edit: oh I forgot to mentioned the Audi consumed 1litre of engine oil every 1000km, it was stupid, lucky was under warranty, car was stuck in workshop for 3 months.

QUOTE(ayamxxx @ Nov 28 2019, 03:28 PM) if this the case, then I just need to view a Lexus for my next car. been used to japanese reliability & low maintenance cost. speed meanwhile lost to all conti in highway. All cars get some kind of problem after 5years it's a matter of big or small. Lexus parts you can source from Toyota so repairs shouldn't be too expensive.
