hi... I'm new to FSM. I wonder, is FSM the best platform for UT?? I googled but it seems there are also POEMS and DollarDex. Which is better?
and if I sign up for FSM (M'sia), can I invest in UT based in Singapore??

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Apr 19 2017, 09:32 AM) I think you are in the wromg section? FSM SG thread is https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3757612You register with FSM MY, you still need to register again with FSM SG, Same thing for Phillip MY and Phillip SG. FSM SG let you go without a SG bank account. Phillip SG/POEMS compulsory must have SG bank account (one of the top 5 - DBS, UOB, OCBC, SCB, MBB). You can get away without SG account for POEMS but that needs to persuade the person who layan you. Actually FSM SG let you get away without a SG bank account. ah, ok. Thanks. I'll make a trip to SG then.

QUOTE(aoisky @ Apr 19 2017, 01:18 PM) no fund house / platform claim to be best platform for UT investment. just my curiosity you lowyating found both POEMS & DollarDex or Googling found both POEMS & DollarDex ? can't remember.... when I google, I found comparison of FSM with POEMS and DollarDex. I guess for UT in m'sia, the cheapest is FSM?? Is the registration process quite simple??

QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ Jun 17 2018, 09:38 AM) It's very unlikely u will be able to derive a side income from FSM. Unless u go in with alot of cash. Even then it will take some times to appreciate in value. And u can't touch the money until you retire. So i personally won't consider it a side income. To me it's a future investment. If u want a "side income" u can consider dividend paying stocks. UT don't pay out cash dividend as far as I know in FSM like saving for retirement?? but yeah, can't be side income unless you've a huge capital.
