I guess it will definitely have a more of a emotional satisfaction impact.....

some NAVs of the funds is based on 1 and some 2 days back....
some funds does not have significants holdings of the index linked stocks
some index falls are dragged down by just 1 or 2 stocks and some affected only 1 sector of the market.
thus these might not impact much to the funds holdings...

why IDS and not other funds like KGF, Kaf vision or others since they are also investing in M'sia?

if only if my current port composition has China/Hk of less than 10% of the port
I would double up the same amount in Dragon.
so that my profit would be 6.5% and my port has China/Hk at 20%

I would also take in CIMB GTF for diversification at no more than 20% too.

Markets indexes fluctuates ......that is what they do best constantly...
my uneducated observation is, if want to have a less fluctuating funds, is to try to get funds with
lower 3 yrs volatility % numbers,
lower FSM risk rating numbers,
try to avoid single country/sector/region funds and
allocated these funds at a higher % relative to your post.

1. Kenanga Growth Fund...20%
2. CIMB Principal Growth Titan Funds....20%
3. CIMB Asia Pacific Dynamic Income Fund....35%
4. Manulife Asia Pac Reits....10%
5. Manulife India...5%
6. TA Global Tech 10%

you just need to reenter you password to that a/c....just to finalise the confirmation of your intention that you really wanted to transacts.

you need to "tick" at the tiny box to confirm that you had read the prospectus and understand the risk...blah.blah.blah....
after that only then the CONFIRM button will not be in fade color,
then you need to reenter yr password.

for a fund with an ROIs of <5% pa I think each year is highly possible
for a fund with an ROIs of 10% each year...what do you think?
