Just bought Affin Hwang World Series - Global Disruptive Innovation Fund - MYR Hedged at RM5k.
My first high risk investment to start in 2021. Is it a good investment considering its (ARKK ETF) fall in performance in recent days?
Just share your thought guys .Would appreciate it.

Can anyone please explain why the sales charge for a fund (eg: AFFIN HWANG funds) is 1.5% in FSMONE and EUNITTRUST whereas AFFIN HWANG INVESTMENT BANK's sales charge is 5.5%?
Why there's such difference in SC?

Damn AFFIN HWANG WORLD SERIES - GLOBAL DISRUPTIVE INNOVATION FUND is going down so much today is it because of correction or jolly  take out money for Chinese new year?

I have been on FSM from Sept'20, and earning more than i invested with manulife for 4.5 yrs. (fact I put in more money in manulife than FSM). .

I have couple of questions, is there any rule of thumb where do i sell and take profit?
I have been randomly(yea) DCA and all this profit are just unrealized P&L.

By the time i hit 50 yrs old, it may/probably drop due to some sort of epidemic again..

Should I just sell it, get profit and start again ?

My stashaway and Wahed is also doing well.. I have exact same question too..

i have been contemplating this as well.

so far i have come to think that its probably up to the individual way of thinking.

taking profit is all nice n all but to me la, the issue is three fold after ive taken profit.

one, how and where to enter back. its a question of opportunity cost vs safety

two, sales fees.

three, lower w.a.c means slower increase in profit but it also means slower increase in loss. when u take profit in re-enter somewhere else, your w.a.c increase due to more capital n the movement gets amplified accordingly. example : my cost now is 5000, 1% movement in either direction cost a 50 ringgit change. but if i take out and re-enter, not only my entry is higher, if my cost is now 10,000 1% movement is 100 ringgit in change.

so i choose to leave it in for now.

but it didnt really answer the original question. when to take it out

I have a question...I read a few times that US and China markets are gonna be down for the next few months, or we're going through correction, etc. Is it good that I buy the related funds now, or wait it out till months later because we don't know how low it'll go?

I got my CDS approved. Anyone else?

CDS account approved and I immediately bought 2 lots of China etf. Rm875 per lot. Total is RM 1760 with RM10+ fees.

I forgot to adjust the bid price just now, and my order was matched shortly.

Any sifu can advice, will it be better for me to lower the bid price or maintain the default price?
