just did my calculations.

at age 28 he accumulated 750k.

so monthly contributions to savings is 9k.

so roughly his wage would be around 15k to 20k average. tell me it doesn't make any sense a kid would make that amount unless it's FAMA contributions

I smell bullshit.

Even General practitioner also can't earn that much in his age.
Maybe he inherited multimillion and take some portion to invest.

Is Interpac Showed Manager is very important?
look like someone on steroids, both the fund keep go up even others static.

Maybe we can read it differently ? During his time in RHB, it was a bigger team, and now he is in Interpac, the team is small, the current performance would mostly be his single handed effort  ?  devil.gif
*
sorry for my typing.
correct, I was trying to said Interpac performance showed efficient manager is important.
When Interpac being introduce by FSM last few mths, mostly was introduce on the manager rather used the fund history or past performance.

After this new manager join, both interpac fund was top of the gain list for pass 2-3 mths. Its gaining speed is fast.
I was just switched small amount into it and observe, 3 mths time it had gain higher than my KGF invested a year plus.

Added why attract him from RHB to Interpac? more control power?

Chill. i do agree polarbearz excel is a bit complicated for normal use.

I believe you can suggest this to FSM. But don't expect instantaneous solution. i can understand it is not something that easy to build, given that we will all have too many transactions, funds, and etc.

I myself only used something similar to pinky's spreadsheets but that's cause i know what i'm doing. Start with noting when you buy/sell the funds, price, units. Have the data saved and ready before you go to putting it in the excel, might be safer, avoid excel freeze and die over.

good suggestion.
really headache after few year of data.
esp CMF inculded in the sheet.

Early GROUO B,

How Do Mutual Funds Grow?
When we talk about size, we are referring to the total asset base or total amount of money that a mutual fund manager must oversee and invest.

Open-ended mutual funds grow their asset size in two ways:
* Strong performance of stocks and/or bonds in the fund's portfolio. When the underlying assets in a portfolio increase in value, the fund's asset size increases.
* The inflow of investors' money. This is why a fund's asset size will continue to grow even if it has a negative return.

How the Fund Manager able to invest sudden million of amount in short period?
As u said It swell in few week. If suddenly after they invested in some field, the investor sold off, sudden lost of capital, it caused NAV drop? although their invested field is earning.

Interpac look like does not have good capital of cash as it sudden swell.

50 subscribers end March has been discussed already. That time, the 2 fund sizes was each less than 2 mil.

Now the fund size of Dana Safi is 14.39 mil and dynamic is 9.52 mil. The increase in investors my guess predominantly comes from FSM. And here our investor with great foresight hahacat invested 90% of his platinum account fund into Interpac. So does he alone account for several millions of the fund size increase ? That's just the coffee break talk I engage myself in.  whistling.gif
*
It is possible, mean he is the one cause the NAV raise by inject few million? False market raise?
and when he earn enough and leave, everything crash?
This sound like a internal person job. and they will go out and spread the news to make everyone invest.

If I understand correctly, investor money cannot increase NAV price. Not directly. The NAV price increased is still due to the fund manager able to invest in the right stocks.
*
Ok. If that is correct.
someone inject 10 million and sell off in 10days, earn 10 percent= 1million. Will the fund house loosing a million loop? I dun think they able to invest the amount injected suddenly from investor in short period.

the fund was only holding 2million capital early 2017 , really goreng 99 the market?
