Why feb by the way ? any big event happening then?

I think I got mentioned the trade deal will pass in this thread few week back.

Was expecting the trade deal "done" by Christmas with at least 60days of extension.
Trump campaign advisor did mentioned/leaked that such move will improve his rating
Extension until at least after new year celebration

That's why the trade deal consisting of phases.
So expecting few more phases with on and off deals

So 1st phase gonna pass as expected since Christmas and New year coming soon. And hiking the tariff during America biggest festive season is suicide

After Jan, probably phase two will be announce.Trump probably will want to boast his ego by "hurting" china during Chinese New year. But since the phase one deal details are not reveal yet so hard to say.

Maybe it's best not to speculate future event. I've seen pro economist also fail doing it.

One last posting,
I am wondering why Warren is holding 120billion cash
Although he did mentioned, most of the investment are overpriced.
Maybe he saw something we don't. Just like Micha Burry..

Sorry about that
Are we not allowed to post our personal view about the market?

coz WB investment style is he looks for bargain.

I not meant we are not allow to post personal view here. I just saying IMO that there is not much point to speculate. U can continue to post if u want.
laugh.gif something like that...

i've seen too many speculation that led to portfolio allocation decision here.

Wealth was acquired during major shift in the economy, financial crisis, dot-com etc

One of few example Micheal burry, John paulson
Of cos I'm not saying all of us will be successful as them.

Not saying we should all follow to speculate but it's just another point of view

want to ask about the charges in FSM,

I saw the pricing structure for FSM and there is a 1.75% sales charge for equities fund. So, let's say I purchased a fund from  FSM and inside the prospectus of the fund there's a entry fee of 5% (for example, AmChina A-Shares (RM-Hedged Class) fund). Does that mean i actually being charged 6.75% every time I top up the fund? Is there any platform fee for equities fund?

Thanks.
*
nope. FSM min sales charges at 1.75%
and there's reward program
https://www.fundsupermart.com.my/fsm/manage...d-services/fees

as far as i know, we should look at the expense ratio on how much we are being charge annually.
and we do not need to pay them as the fee already reflected in the daily NAV pricing

I think oil palm will contribute alot 💪

Based on this tho, Indonesia too
https://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/indo...-boost-palm-oil
*
the top countries of importing palm oil
India: US$5.5 billion (17.5% of total palm oil imports)
China: $3.4 billion (10.8%)
Pakistan: $1.9 billion (6.1%)
Netherlands: $1.8 billion (5.7%)
Spain: $1.3 billion (4.2%)
United States: $1.1 billion (3.6%)

and as far as i know,
china, us and most europe countries are aiminng for full electric car by 2030

also
high density and capacity battery are in process for consumer usage. latest being lithium metal are soon to be tested in consumer products,
also there is Li-Carbon Dioxide battery and graphite battery

is there any country in high demand for biodiesel?

Thank you vanguard! It's comforting to see so many avatars that I am familiar with. I have been dabbling in Malaysian stocks so its a hit and a miss for me during this tripid times.

high likely it was due to the last few month of 2019, there's no hiccup and the tweeter king on holiday mood
i think last year i got mention POTUS will keep quiet until feb but unfortunately he is madder than i anticipated, waging real war....

1st month of 2020 already waging real war incoming
probably after the spat with iran died down,
then come 2nd phase of the trade war

Anyone considering the FSM managed portfolio? They have promo now. 0% subscription fee to buy into, Minimum investment to start is lowered from RM 5,000 to RM 1,000

Annual Portfolio Management fee is 0.5% per annum. Seems to be lower than some of the other Robo-ETFs like Stashaway
*
is the subscription fee forever?

my MP, aggressive in green 3.1% never DCA
my portfolio 4.8% which myself consider aggressive as well, monthly DCA

both started at same time, end 2017

never realised KGF is lagi teruk than yr fund for the past 2 years, until I explored abit more..

but then, for the past 1 yr performance...they are of a big different insight,

who will be "better" in 2020?
*
I got 10 holding, all of them in green except this.
Planning to dispose this
Probably pump in us/market
Or perhaps bond but I'm not familiar with it yet.

I have not see the kgf holdings
If I'm not mistaken, the eastspring holding consist of maybank, cimb and tenaga..
