QUOTE(targon @ Dec 16 2020, 09:39 AM) 5950x and 5800x can be found at some smaller reseller (definitely not at Lyp). u just got to do the homework and search them out. any seller got 5800x at msrp at this point ? i saw all selling at 2.5k now5950 at scalper price + bundled with mobo , 5800 bundled with mobo (normal price) depending on which reseller u buy. |

QUOTE(Bonchi @ Dec 19 2020, 08:53 PM) why b450? do you intend on getting the ryzen 3000 series? https://hardwarecanucks.com/cpu-motherboard...-compatibility/5000 series wont get official support and will be made possible with a oneoff beta update to make the fans happy but wont guarantee that it will be smooth sailing. Especially on the pcie lanes. I wont give much faith on it after what ive encountered.... Heck even on 3000 series b450 has issues with pcie lanes and i end up swapping to b550. |

QUOTE(llk @ Dec 20 2020, 11:57 PM) too late , I already bought 5600x+b550 tomahawx bundle deal QUOTE(edmund_yung @ Dec 21 2020, 09:01 AM) Update us how it turns out. I’m toying with the idea of 5600X + B450 too, but can’t get the CPU to try. I already bought 5600x+b550 tomahawx bundle deal on shoppee , though i think quality b450 is still capable to carry 5600x ,no need to spend extra unless thing doesnt work out as for me im just being too impatience , prob sell my 2600+b450 together PS:5600x+ b550 msi tomahawx for RM2199 , RM50 higher than LYN price , still doable to me This post has been edited by zhenfeng91: Dec 21 2020, 10:46 AM edmund_yung liked this post

QUOTE(cwtien @ Jan 28 2025, 10:05 AM) Did you also check the All IT Hypermart in Lowyat? They have ready stock for 9800X3D at RRP, but the bundled MBs (Gigabyte) are not the models I'm looking for (I'm looking for Asrock or MSI). I dint check ALL it , I only check viewnet price , I think they can bundle any mobo they got , u can check their FB ask for latest pricelist to checkI haven't asked them anything, just looked over the counter. What MBs is Viewnet bundling with? |

QUOTE(iZuDeeN @ Feb 12 2025, 01:28 PM) lets be real, there is always parts failure when it comes to electronic... the main point is if its really manufacture problem, what percentage the failure rate I wonder how many 9800x3d sold right now , still have to bundle everywhere depends on parts electronics have 1 - 2 % failure rate (low volume) and <1% for high volume products hence 1 or 2 ppl reported problem vs millions sold ; its not an issue if their new radeon gpu are good value then also hard to get one |
