Just upgraded to 5800x, should i be worried about the temp?

Idle 45-55
Full load 75-90 (depending on apps)

Same result, can hits 90 degree when running Cinebench R23
gaming is better, 70-80 degree on AAA game.
I am using ID cooling Zoomflow 240.
You can try enable PBO2 to undervolt, idle temperature should drop by 2-3 degree, and performance increase 5%.

Im using EK AIO 360
I try playing around with PBO and eco mode (it will cause minor performance sweat.gif )

Maybe later i will undervolt it just in case

looks fine to me

Seems i need to adapt the temp for the time being rolleyes.gif

use the PP provided by bro  Tristan. dayummm good for idle while single core/few core still reach 4.95 at default when needed.

now the single most highest temp at idle is the samsung 970 evo plus.....its idle at 45++ hmm.gif and its normal...

Will try it later on.. flex.gif

Overtighten the mounting screw a bit. It may give you a bit more cooling.
*
I think already over tighten. Scared might "cracked" the mounting laugh.gif

Enable PBO mode, apply Curve Optimizer with a low negative offset as much as possible before the CPU becomes unstable when doing stability testing. You should see a slight reduction in temps, if it still hits 90C, you should see higher clockspeeds on the cores at those temps anyway.
*
Currently using the PBO, need to tune abit since the temp going and down but not much. Still satisfied with slight decrease temp

I tried eco mode, it produce very effective temperature and power reduction (-30%), with minimum performance impact (-5%).
But I revert back to normal mode because it would be a waste buying high performance chip and neft it manually.
360 AIO also hitting 90 degree? I though It's my 240 AIO causing 90 degree, I guess there is no point upgrading 360 AIO.
*
Previously using intel so same using 360 aio and the temp much lower than the AMD. Less than 70 deg. Just abit weird i thought it getting better when switching to 5800x

Just the temp makes me "nervous" when seeing it..haha

Normal.

CPU only and both CPU and GPU load is different. Adding GPU to the mix will increase.

Possible for you to hit 90C since your cooler is weaker than mine.

Running with power plan + PBO?
