stuff you order on amazon won't get stuck. you actually pay import charges upfront to them.

if you don't want to tune the kit you can just buy any 2x16gb kit anyways, be it 3200 or 3600. performance about same.
if you wanna tune then u'll either have to find a 3600 corsair kit on micron rev. e (which will require you to go to shops n check version numbers, which can result in quite a few raised eyebrows of shop sales staff, haha) or you have to get them with amazon which is the only place I'd personally import ram kits from.

Hi there, the adata D50 is on micron rev e, 3600mhz C18-20-20. So does this mean this ram can tune or can I just load the default xmp? Is micron rev e best for fine tune up a bit for speed? ie from 3600mhz jump to 4000mhz. Thanks.

Has anyone tried buying from amazon US? OK?

Try Newegg, amazon charges import tax for those that ship to Malaysia. Personally after the courier and tax charges, difference not much. Also shipment might take forever and custom might give you problem. For the warranty I would advise you buy local. Support local! LOL.

Anyone with 5600x can share their temp here?

I'm getting very high idle temp Ard 63C .. and gaming will hit Ard 75..

Seems either my cooling insufficient or the chip is toasty

Found a /r discussion on this ; they suggest cap the voltage to 1.2V and 45x multiplier
*
So what's your temperature after you cap the voltage? Performance got go down? Also it would be helpful if you share what cooling you use and mobo and software.

My case, 5600x MSI board with MSI software and AIO 360. When idle is around 43, shock the shit out of me. Then realize is because performance in MSI software set CPU to extreme (maximum) performance. After I change to Balanced, temp drop back to the 30s.... Hope this help. Oh when I did the performance test (very quickly) max temp 70 to 75 range.

using AIO 360 rad as attached..  the rad is set as push pull

bottom 2 fans is intake

the board is not warm at all... board temp ard 45c while gaming (capacitor around 65c)

ive disabled all software from MSI.. using the AMD drivers... for MSI X570 Tomahawk WiFi (rated to be one of the better VRM and cool budget x570 board) ..

I am using msi gaming edge WiFi, your mobo vrm better than mine. I could be wrong, there's something about the radiator head must be higher than the pump head. In theory your setup should be more cooling than mine since you got more fan.

Btw why you go disable all msi softwares? Any reasons to do so?

i probably stick to this for a while.. dont want to get another AIO .. probably wouldnt have much effect .. if i go perhaps doing custom water cool instead
i prefer not to load any driver during startup

and the MSI dragon interface looks dated.. i set everything in BIOS instead.

now i just set max fan speed to 70% in BIOS and 1.175V

only using the PC for gaming (or just word/email/ms teams)

so 6 core already overkill...

when gaming only 50% utilize.. and no bother chasing temp.. iit doesnt impact anything come to think of it..

im not into highest record/speed etc.. more to personal use

I think you are right. The MSI dragon center seems crappy. For some reasons now my idle temperate hitting 50 plus degrees too. CPU Core Temperature higher than socket. Socket only 30 to 33, whereas CPU core is over 50. Kind of strange some online folks reported socket temperature higher than core. I will try install the Ryzen Master then see how.

Wow I haven't been reading this thread ever since I got my AMD5600x plus 3070. Not sure what's the big hoo ha here.

For me I haven't encounter anything nasty with 5600x yet... touchwood. Previously I was an Intel user. First time AMD. That being said I don't overclock and hardly play games. In fact my PC is less than 50 degrees most of the time and my 3070 fans hardly spin. So far no issue with AMD yet. Those random reboots or hanging I think is more on Windows? At least I don't encounter constant reboot.

I just hope my 5600x last, I did get a good cooler and thermal paste for it.
