This just showed you how much Intel had to sandbag in order for AMD to just catchup. No competition means the other just sit and milk consumer. Honestly I dont think I will upgrade my PC even if AMD caught up.

I thought wanna buy a 2nd hand ryzen desktop part but it seems like some sellers seem to think there's cpu shortage or something. 2nd hand ryzen laptop seem like more worth to buy.

Was planning to buy a cheapo 2nd hand Ryzen3 cpu+mobo but what a turn off when looking around. I think for the price they are asking, better buy i3 12th gen.

Everyone expecting AMD to blew Intel away and look what happened. I never thought after all these years, multi core (>8) uplift in gaming is still so weak.

Seems like AMD going down Nvidia route and said fuck gamers...

Wow... how did AMD fumble this hard when there is no competition right now? Even the 99xx part also miserable.

Anyway, Im still waiting for APU from AMD. It does not look like there will be any decent APU from AMD despite them declaring low end GPU is dead. This is why I bought an Intel gaming laptop for my son while I replaced my desktop with Intel N100. It does not look like AMD will make an APU with decent 1080P gaming.

The only reason I want iGPU is to get rid of dedicated GPU and still be able to play most game at 1080p easily. However I dont think that's the case even with 8700G. It cant even match RX580 from 2016. Why would I spent so much on the APU when you get more from RX580 easily.
