AM5 so far got like a few issues for me.. cold boot time is pretty long.
Also remember to disabled usb selective suspend setting in power options.. this thing cost some usb issue like AM4 and stutters.

The rest quite happy so far.

Idk man power consumption means nothing here in Malaysia unless you live elsewhere in the world. Electric bill hasn't even gone up ever since I use my new build for 3 months now and I'm running mine at least 10 hours a day. There is always Eco mode if you want to "save". Eco mode solve everything if you care about power consumption.

Edit: I'm more worried about food going up in price then paying for my electric bill atm.

Wow early adopters get nothing lol

Noticed after a few updates on Windows and past couple of months my 7700x has been able to boot Windows 11 without any issues now on EcoMode at the lowest wattage. if not last time I had to turn off and on again a few times for it to boot lol. Guess it's a Windows thing? Or just both. Was never the issue for default and enhanced preset.

Latest Asus BIOS update for X670E mobo fixed the cold boot time. Default is like 20-40 sec, now 5 sec haha

Just glad I bought a 7700x last time So much drama relating to it with the new cpu lol.. was planning to upgrade it to a better one tho.waiting for the x3d.

I also planning to upgrade maybe to 9800X3D/9900X3D.. probably sell off my 4090 this month and wait for the 5090..

Instead of them bundling 9800x3d with a mobo, do you think they would entertain those who want the newest x3d with a 5090?

Price about the same now or a bit cheaper. Better just buy locally than Amazon.
