From Jayacom pricelist, they listed a MSI A320 Gaming Pro for RM 360 but...

https://www.lowyat.net/2017/129400/asus-mal...4-motherboards/

Asus apparently bringing in their A320Prime K for RM 303 but not sure available

My post;

Hey would like to know between the 1400 and 1500x, how much of a difference can I get with the top up 80 Ringgit and if I want to get a basic b350 board, which one is good, budget for mobo 450 max not more than that

I was looking at 350 gaming pro but newegg comment say it is bad and buggy bios, or the asus 350m but same thing on newegg except it is worse with DOA

Also found the Gigabyte AB350 DS2 but I can't find reviews on it and whether it can OC at all cause it is AB not pure B

Also, anyone know how to get the CPU compatibility bracket, I have a CM Hyper212 X but it says I need to get an AM4 bracket, do I go to the store and ask from them as I bought it from them?

The more expensive u pay, the bigger chance of better oc silicon lottery u will get. I just read some info, seems many ppl who get 1400 even cant oc more than 3.7ghz.
I think u may consider better cpu if u cant afford more a bit price, otherwise please take risk of maybe cant OC higher, somemore 1500X get you larger L3 cache.

Why not consider Asrock mobo, its quality not bad, and also good bios update?

You may try stock fan for OC 1st, cause u wont know how much u can OC till. Maybe decide to get a new bracket after that?

Any Asrock mobo within the budget range of 450? I don't mind any brands as long as I can perform the functions with ease

Also I'm looking for bracket because I already have a Hyper 212X in my PC so I want to transfer over instead of using stock cooler

Hey, my friend has a 750ti but wants to upgrade soon. Is it better to use the GPU on 2400g or get a 1500x/ find cheaper 1600.

He won't risk OC too much so its a b320m board. Asrock 320M-HDV most likely.

Hi, I wanted to have a Ryzen 2600X SFF build.
But looks like there are no Micro-ATX X470 mobo released yet.

Any suggestion of the best X370 or B350 Micro-ATX mobo around?

For a small form factor build, you probably have better luck with an itx board such as the strix b350/x370/x470 -i because they seem to have better VRM setups than a lot of other MATX bords. If budget is a concern then the asrock b350m Pro4 would do as well. The MSI mortar/ bazooka may be the only other alternative amongst the others.

Hi new to ryzen here. Just wanna join in the league.

Just wondering..

Is it worth getting ryzen 7 1700x w ab350 gaming k4 or just go for ryzen 5 1600 with ab350 pro4 ?

Casual gaming only. No video editing.

Is it worth to spend the extra bucks for r7

The two boards are identical but if you plan to overclock then go for a k4. K4 has bios lights while the Pro4 relies on nothing so if there is an error, you are blind to troubleshooting everything.

For your case, aim for 2600x. x700 is better on a higher end b350 and above. You can still use a x700 on stock with a b350 but don't hope for overclocking much out of it.

Neither asrock lower end x470 are good. Even the x370 killer sli and x370 k4 are better than the current asrock cheaping out on their VRM (voltage regulator) components; if you want to OC, they suck.

If you want a decent motherboard that is around that price range, look for MSI gaming plus among the budget category or wait for the b450 carbon which is the same VRM setup but with better sound and intel Lan/ WiFi.

If you want something now and an x470 for sli for some reason, MSI Carbon Pro is your next bet at 650 but if you want to risk it, look for a Biostar X470GT8/ X370GT7. That board is high level stuff made on a budget. Think a cut down Asus Crosshair (best x470) at 600 with less bells and whistles on other component such as Lan or capacitors. You get all you need to OC like voltage offset and BCLK tuner which is absent on any other board below 900.

Ryzen prefer higher frequency ram but if you really want to get good ram, get B-die 3000 cl14 ram found in Gskill trident and flare modules. You want reasonable, go for cheap ram that people have OC to 3000.

GPU, wait for next GPU. They will be better and drive current GPU lower. Who knows, maybe you can look at garage sale and buy a zotac 1080 for cheap. When people jump the boat.

Should be good from the very few reviews. It has offset voltage and BLCK clockgen to tweak the auto oc but bare in mind, Biostar is some Taiwanese OEM brand. You might not get the support you need if something happens. I can't say much on it because I haven't used that board in particular. Trying to get a x470gt8 for a personal upgrade and then I can remark on it further.

Edit;
Looks like you have some bad news, there is no x470gt8 in Malaysia and probably not ever. If you want to use auto OC then the Taichi is the next best thing for its price and VRM setup.
