I ordered one 4 days ago, estimated delivery time in Feb, then after 2 days, the subsequent batch delivery time is in Jan. i asked the CS whether can be expedited, he asked me to cancel my order and re-order again 😅. After consideration, i think no point to wait, perhaps by the time should have plenty of stock locally.

How much did you have to pay?
Rm3k++?

Sometimes, the CPU dies with no physical symptoms. Like my 9800x3d. Motherboard survived though.

Bought another 9950X3D during Lazada 4.25 sales, surprisingly AllIT listed the 9950X3D without requiring a motherboard bundle. After applying voucher, the price was even slightly below MSRP. So now I’m upgrading my CPU from 8 cores to 16 cores  thumbup.gif

Congrats on you purchase.

Just keep an eye out for your VSOC voltage. There are reports of it dying over at the ASROCK reddit thread.

Read about it but could be just 9000 series? Another thing while shopping for b650 board i saw several seller offer cheaper board and days its import for Japan? Is it a scam?
*
No idea if it's genuine or scam. I'd be looking at a warranty angle. How difficult would it be should I need to RMA it.

9800X3D owner what is your idle temp ? Mine is at like 50-55C with Corsair Nautilus 360 with room temperature at 31-32c with fan. Gaming time the temp also will be same as idle. Is it normal for Malaysia temperature ?
*
My hall temp goes up to 34C.
Using a Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120SE with Thermalright TF7 paste. Idles between 47-57C.

What thermal paste did you use?

Be careful as many TG pastes series are made for performance not durability for long term usage. If dont want to keep taking out cooler every year to replace TP due to pump out, go with TG Duronaut which is for day to day use.
*
Interesting, wasn't aware of this for TG Extreme.

AMD comments on burning AM5 socket — chipmaker blames motherboard vendors for not following official BIOS guidelines

QUOTE
AMD claims the underlying problem behind the burnout issues is caused by some ODM BIOSes that do not adhere to AMD's recommended values. However, AMD has further clarified that the issue is complex and is working closely with its partners to resolve it. AMD also recommended users update their motherboard BIOS to the latest version.

Seems the issue isn't 100% fixed.
