Hi guys. I need to tint my wife's Myvi this weekend. I was quoted RM1.8K for VKool Elite. I am aware that it's a good tint as I'm currently using it on my City but I'm looking for a cheaper alternative. My requirements are as follows:

1. JPJ Approved.
2. Budget is around RM1,000 +-

Kindly mention the shop name too. Thanks a lot guys!

Dude, just to correct some info that we dont have V-Kool Secure Lite,

Its either V-Kool Secure 8Mil (High Range)
or Secure Lite 4Mil

Secure Lite 4Mil is our inhouse brand and the quality equal to those so called
"japanese or korean film" and the price range within RM1000

If u dont care of Smart tag or GPS or Autogate not friendly then can go for 3M Crystalline, if always use Smart tag or GPS or Autogate then go for Huper Optik  thumbup.gif

Yikes, I was considering 3M Crystalline, but now you say cannot use Smart Tag, GPS and autogate remote rclxub.gif

Looks like gotta choose something else... so Huper Optik is good choice then?

If u use Original 3M Crystalline Series film sure Smart Tag not friendly bro, now most of them will change the FWS to Ceramics film(Not Huper Optik) or modify the FWS film to use the Smart Tag.
But why u pay more and need to modify ur film ? Waste... tongue.gif

The SmartTAG infra-red technology cannot handle the requirement for Multi Lane Free Flow (MLFF). It will be replaced by the microwave 5.8 GHz transponder systems which are currently undergoing testing under the purview of Malaysian Highway Authority (MHA).

Source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SmartTAG

I think they change it already as I am V-Kool + Smart Tag user
3m should not be a huge problem too
