If u dont care of Smart tag or GPS or Autogate not friendly then can go for 3M Crystalline, if always use Smart tag or GPS or Autogate then go for Huper Optik  thumbup.gif

Yikes, I was considering 3M Crystalline, but now you say cannot use Smart Tag, GPS and autogate remote rclxub.gif

Looks like gotta choose something else... so Huper Optik is good choice then?

the seller also recommended the v-kool tint as well.. but the price is start from rm2k
If you search around 2k can get already (for V-Kool 70).

QUOTE
he offer me this model - HERO 75 – 4 Mil for rm1250. so, what do u think? anyone has experience on this brand..?
No experience with this brand but the specs seem so-so only. And they do not disclose the TSER %, which is the key statistic to see how much heat it cuts.

does it mean vkool and huperoptik come from same company? coz home brand same one.
Ha-ha, I think "no comment" = yes smile.gif

Someone mentioned that in Malaysia the boss behind V-Kool and Huper Optik is same person. True or not?

QUOTE
3rd question, a forumer complained that huperoptik looks blurry..care to comment?
- HO film is the Clearest Auto film  hmm.gif

I think the case about blurry Huper film was in relation to the security film. Steven, since you install Huper security film have you experienced this before?

Maybe it was a case of the water not fully dried.

C70 = Huper Optik clearest film Special for FWS.

When you say clearest you mean highest VLT?

Correct the blur mostly cause by the adhesive(glue) of the film.

So for the good film (like V-Kool) the glue is transparent and not blur? Or do you mean straight after install will still be a bit blur, but after drying it will be clear?

QUOTE
Actually Huper also quite good because it wont rust but it reject heat slower compare to V-Kool
because metal vs ceramic

So metal film always reject heat better than ceramic?

Aside from that I heard metal film might oxidise (perhaps not the good ones like V-Kool) and metal also blocks smart tag, gps, etc. Dunno if true or not. I think the Huper sales push this point a lot, saying that their ceramic film will not block these things like metal film.

2. After Cut 50% of metarial....... please imaging... but Smart Tag or GPS & Autogate still have issue  brows.gif
3. After cut 7 layers, this issue appears  cool2.gif

What i can say, V-kool Elite is the best..... Just for 5 years ago  whistling.gif

You mean few years ago V-Kool Elite had 14 layers, now only 7 layers?

Hope Huper Optik don't have this issue.

- Never, Original Huper Optik film even just tint and not fully dried will not blur when u look outside from inside smile.gif
- Not VLT, i mean when you sit in the car watching outside, it's super clear not like other film(Including V-kool & 3M)  blush.gif
Good to know Huper film is super clear. That's what I like.

The Ceramic series is super clear. How about Sech 60? Just as clear?

QUOTE
- It's not true bro, depends on which film. Please welcome to my shop anytime, i will show you the Huper Optik, V-kool Elite & 3M Crystalline film biggrin.gif
Unfortunately since I'm from outstation not so easy to go to your shop just to see.

But I read earlier got one person from my town who went to do tinting at your shop (since he was travelling to KLIA). He said he was satisfied with your service and workmanship.

Guise y da spec for this sech60 n c70 look weird one? C70 says 90+ IRR where sech60 onli say 80+ IRR.
But again I don't get it, y the tser for sech60 is higher one. Higher is better right? How come IRR is lower but tser is higher one? Sorry i really noob

If you are a noob, then just do more research. Simple as that.

Heat does not only come from IRR, it also comes from the visible light spectrum. If you only look at IRR it is misleading because it only shows one part of the heat. However, TSER measures across the whole spectrum so it is more accurate.

I find that a lot of people do research just by asking question and expecting answer biggrin.gif

Often the answer already out there. Just need to do a search to find it.

I saw a friend's car just tinted recently. Some areas got like many small bubbles. Tint shop fella says these will disappear once the film fully dries out. True or not?

Most of the safety film not really good in heat rejection

I've heard people say that before.

But looking at the spec of the C50-4mil, it looks quite ok:

Unless you're saying in practice it is not as good as the specs indicate.

So it is mean c40 is better? Can pass JPJ?

JPJ requirement is 70%, so any film under 70% VLT does not comply with JPJ rules.
