what interleaving?? fastpath?? hahaha

orang kata streamyx got promotion like unifi.. so wait n see dulu..  sweat.gif

Don't bother to wait lor.......
Apparently, the unifi lite offer requires existing streamyx customers area to be covered by fiber connectivity (confirmed). If your area isn't covered by unifi, no luck. Not to mention only 100k out of 1.4million streamyx will be selected.

Eh, are you really serious about not knowing dsl noise profile? shocking.gif
Even wikipedia got article on it.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asymmetric_di...ng_and_fastpath

In short, fastpath = low latency, however if SNR is low, then confirm disconnection etc.
Interleaving = higher latency, but good stable connection if SNR is low.

Seeing your adsl stats, your SNR is quite good. Should change to fastpath.

Edit: It shaves average 21ms off of latency when I ping local server.

Yes, unifi lite requires fiber connectivity.......

Don't confuse latency and bandwidth.......

It is the attenuation value you need to worry about. In your case, your attenuation is quite low (the lower the attenuation, the better)
-.- Apparently, your dsl interleaving is adding average of 15.45ms for downstream and 15.78ms for upstream.

So...in your case....you got like 15.45ms extra time to contact the server + 15.78ms for the server to reply back = total time of 31.23ms....wow....
My condolences..... sweat.gif

As far as I know u can relocate streamyx a/c or migrate to unifi without paying penalty, unless u want switch to other ISP..

lulz. From Streamyx to TIME of course need to cancel first (or need to pay penalty if still in contract). Unless you want to keep Streamyx as second Internet

no need upgrade twice, i believe u can straight away upgrade to 8M (RM140)

i think ppl misunderstood the myth of "free upgrade" here,
it is not that u can 'free upgrade' to next speed package,
but it is because of earlier promo called Super-Duper Jimat or whatever (despite the promo ended Dec'16?),

https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RjudXqlTLX8/V6Ro...x_Promotion.jpg

to be more accurate, you're just upgrade to next package with "new promo price" only,
that's why so far ppl can upgrade from 2M to 4M, 4M to 8M by maintaining same price,
but yet 1M user have to top-up RM10 upgrade to 2M
