Thinking hard whether should I upgrade my 970 to 1070.. been looking at the market place.. LOL LOL. sifu-sifu.. any opinion?

1080ti can max those game in 2k with at least 60fps?

I got min 44fps with i5 4690 16gb 1866 ddr3 on dirt 4 Lol. Turn shader option to high and i can play with vsync on

Hi, sifu sifu, I have a question.

Previously I was using GTX970 SLI until recently the PC crashed often. I disable SLI and the problem still persist then I switched the GTX970 with one another and the problem was solved.

It seems one of the cards already got problem.

My question is: is graphic card repairable? It is out of warranty.
If I'm going to upgrade, which 1 to recommend?

Sure.. why not. 4K with 1080ti also can pump average 60fps.

Oh... same processor as mine. GTX 1070 maxed everything in Tomb Raider can get average 75fps on 1080 resolution. GTX 1070 sure can handle Dirt.

Just try dirt 4 and let me know

I don't have the game but I have no doubt it can run Dirt 4 with GTX 1080ti.

Hard to find review for dual monitor tho..
I can notice some difference between 1080p vs 2k but not 4k so meh... Not interested invest in 4k monitor..

Hey guys , wanted to ask any Gtx 1080 owner here facing BSOD when changing resolution in Wolfenstein II The New Colossus , atm the game locks at 1080p , using 388.13

i dont know why, all the games that i played got over 75fps but for dirt 4 with stage with lots of shadow at dense jungle my rate drop to 44 fps with ultra setting. looking for the answer at codemaster and steam forum but they suggest to use 1080ti lol. btw my cpu usage never hit >60% on this kind of game

Change from 1080p to 1440 or 4k. At 1080p, the GTX1080 is underutilized even at max settings.

Imo, is has really good graphics easy game mechanics and has a good story. It has kinda of a dishonered vibe in it , a little bit of stealth involved.
