luckily i visit this before i proceed for the dorsett subang...this building upper floor still like under construction. What happen to this project?

where do i begin?

1), the whole building was actually up some 6-7 years back , just pending the interiors work mostly (it was launched as The Hermitage then subsequently rebranded under Dorsett). So the building facade (external paint job) is already starting to fade. And because it was completed quite some time back, i image the lifts were already installed during the initial stage hence the lift models is quite seasoned / old. When you stand inside the lift you could feel the wobbliness and not mention theres been numerous occasions of residents getting trapped.

2), the rooftop. The design from the show model unit is totally different from what they have executed (understand it was for illustration only) but for them to convert a residents lounge (with pool table, seating area) into a so called VIP sky lounge / cigar bar / karaoke is just a bit too much. This is located next to the gym and just few metres walk from the kids pool. So when some jokers are having their karaoke session the whole floor can hear. and dont forget the building also houses the dorsett hotel so you will be sharing your facilities (limited to say, the pool and the small gym) with hotel guests. The so called wellness centre / spa is still abandoned, their reason is they are unable to find an operator to take over. Who would in their right mind want to take over especially during times like this? so it is an eye sore and it is just 2 metres away from the main pool.

3) , the management / JMB. though there have been improvements in recent months but it can be better, considering the high maintenance we are currently paying (close to RM0.4 psf).

4) , the car park for residents which is located at b3 and b4. it smells and is dusty.

5) the price psf. even with their so called early bird 20% rebate (which has been ongoing for 2 years, never ending promotion), the price psf is almost close to rm1k psf. With this price, you have a lot of much better options out there, with much more facilities to offer to the residents.

The pros? i suppose it is the location, within walking distance to the mall (markets, eateries etc) and the unit is fully furnished (tv, aircon, washing machine, sofa, bed, cabinets, dining tables, chairs, study table) you can pretty much no need to renovate and just move in once VP.

Last time hotel here majority who stay mostly?
