We shall see whether they dare to go beyond 6%. Even if goes below 6% my parents will not let me withdraw any out. sad.gif

One thing that PNB has which EPF does not have is the capability to perform profit-smoothing, ie can save-up profits during profitable years to be given out during non-profitable years. ..hence, let's see if we can get to enjoy this profit-smoothing advantage next month in the ASM payout.

I believed EPF also does that. Just that more they are not as aggresive (returns) as ASNB.

Tks,... biggrin.gif ,... I'm happy to know that there are ready buyers when I wish to let go,... Many a times, I need to go through some hassles when I needed to sell, and I seldom sell my investments,... I've always been a long term holder.

A recent example would be my disposal of a Singapore ctr : Singpost. Hard to decide on the selling price.

Glad that things are a lot easier with PNB Funds. biggrin.gif thumbsup.gif

The way things are going..
Confirm below 6%...
How much is anyone guess....
5% to 5.8% blush.gif
*
Yea i think it will be between 5%-5.5%

If you take the best performing FB at 4.2% and if the payout is at 5% then the 0.8% might not really be worth the risk already..

We shall know soon enough

No I am not confident. That's why I want to withdraw but my parents don't let me. Will only do that after I am working.

Well if really 5%, then it's already no use hunting for asx funds like crazy when u can get almost similar % with FD devil.gif

Or move on to riskier investment like UT offered by others or invest in stocks blush.gif

But this for non ASB funds.. If ASB were to get such low return, then the non ASB funds would be 4% already bangwall.gif
