Hai Sifus, need some clarification.
I'm planning to put my FD into one of the 3 funds, but i might need to touch some of the money in 7 to 8 months for some big item purchases.

How is the interest calculated?
I know the interest are calculated on a monthly basis but i do not really understand.
Do i need to have the full amount during the end of interest period?

Just an example, say, interest calculated for 5k for 6 months and i withdraw, therefore interest on 3k for the last month during the interest period?

i went to the branch just now. Seems i cannot transfer from my asm3 to asm2. Switching is subject to unit availability.

However to transfer for example from asm2 to my sis's asm2, this is a direct transfer and no need for unit availability.

it's auto enter anyway. when you do topup your name already in the list. actually they do random pick only lor.
you know why name always got more of 'certain race'? because they usually topup small2 amount but many many many times. and since units are "unlimited" for them hence higher chance.
for non bumi, usually put lump sum large2 amounts and due to limited units, cannot do so many times. that's all. they're not being biased or unfair. how I know? I know laaa hehehehe.
