QUOTE(fairylord @ Aug 29 2018, 11:59 AM) Thanks for the details. If anyone plans to release any Fixed Fund ASM, ASW, AS1M at 10k and above, I'm willing to go to HLB or ASNB to meet you for the Units Transfer. Appreciate and cheers. Are u willing to pay extra for the transfer?

QUOTE(fairylord @ Aug 29 2018, 09:23 PM) Hehe, depends on the location that I need to travel to and how many months more away from the dividend payout. By the way need more details, I believe the transfer may cause existing holder lost the dividend. Probably not if u do it on the 1st of the month.I actually called ASNB n was told that u can only transfer the same fund, like ASM to ASM or ASW to ASW. U can do it in any Agent Banks not just HLB. When it is getting difficult to get units online in the future, then may be can sell off by transfer at a premium of 1-2%. This post has been edited by MGM: Aug 29 2018, 09:49 PM

QUOTE(ultraman29 @ Sep 3 2018, 08:27 AM) thanks for your reply. this makes a lot more sense which then comes to my next point why u guys like to hunt early in the month? effectively u will burn all the possible “interest” as the money will not generate any income until the next month? Do u actually read up this thread or at least the first page and the last few pages?

QUOTE(ultraman29 @ Sep 3 2018, 08:43 AM) 1st page and last 20pages... ok guess highest chance to buy early of month, “calculative”/opportunist ppl will try end of month but chances r prob very slim Just 10 mins and become smarter. QUOTE(jason210 @ Sep 3 2018, 09:00 AM) Try ASW better chance, unless lots of sharks around.

QUOTE(fairylord @ Sep 5 2018, 08:17 PM) 72 / return rate = X years to achieve 100% profit if compound So, 72 / 6 = 12 years , 12 years to get 100% profit if compound If 100% / 12 years = 8.33% p.a if compound for 10 years Approximately lah Then might as well use 24/36 years.

QUOTE(veera77 @ Sep 8 2018, 06:19 AM) That 1,000 not eligible for dividend I called ASNB recently and was told it is eligible for dividend.

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Sep 11 2018, 11:12 PM) EPF can withdraw after 55yo.. u over 55yo? can withdraw anytime u like... and yes.. those doing part time business.. share trading, forex, property agents etc. I know few unker doing part time to kill time still contribute into EPF... I think there is a change of rules. For those btw 55 to 60, NEW contribution can only be withdrawn after 60.

Ever since AS1M was launched in 2009 n one could buy many units, I converted all FD to it when many were avoiding it. Now I only keep a couple of thousands in MBB saver-i as emergency cash. Lately can even use CC+Bigpay as a source for emergency cash n earn some CB too.

QUOTE(wu ming @ Sep 20 2018, 07:59 PM) It doesn't work by sell and buy back. More like a transfer. So it is not risky at all. Another downside is that both transfer-er and transfer-ee need to be there at same time with IC. Someone said earlier only the seller has to be present for this type of transfer.
