After I have sold ALL of one of my Fixed Rate funds,... the number of units in my account goes to ZERO, but the point is : the account remains there.

Frankly,... from what I heard in SG when I went there to do my Rights Issue recently,.. they are tightening their rules against our investors going in.

So,... PNB will continue to reap more and more benefits in the years to come when Malaysians can't invest in SG anymore.

Ahh,... this statement finally comes,... yes, meaning people can exit this investment, but NOT allowed to buy-in anymore, in other words, this fund is not taking-in anymore new investors after somebody unloaded the units. As more and more people sell because they needed money, there will be fewer and fewer investors in this fund.

We really need to know PNB's plans for this fund,... should not keep using the dark like this.

Bro prince,.. not putting in anymore, but still have some getting ready to move them out when opportunity permits. Used to be PNB enthusiast too many years ago and when that discussion came about changing to variable funds, I tried harder and moved the majority out. That was a good thing that happened to me - if that discussion did not come, I wouldn't have moved my funds out.

The experience gained has been invaluable,... and the chances to open accounts overseas,... yeah,..

Hmm,... there is a new snag here,... what you mentioned in the above is good planning. One thing good about the current govt is it never stops us from moving our funds out of this country.

If the govt changes,... I suspect this policy will change,... just an opinion for you and the bros here,...

For myself : I moved out whatever I could, as fast as I could, and invested as much as I could by learning and experiencing as fast as I could. Soon, a breakpoint will be reached whereby, with sufficient funds outside of the country, whatever I have overseas will earn enough and be self-sustaining. Then I would not need to pump anymore out.

So,... if anybody sells ASM, the funds sold will be converted into 'reserves' for the above promo,.. Things are beginning to change,... starting with the ASM. So the change is NOT from FP into VP for the ASM, but rather in this form.

Hence, the ASM being the 'in the weakest position'.

I am glad I started moving out from end-2015. Investment needs to be fwd-thinking,....

MKt is forward-looking,... a common saying, so, we must be fwd-thinking too to be on top of the curve,....
