I just got the 50mbps a few weeks ago. At first the speedtest is around 40+... but in the last few days, it was only 30+. Waddafak?

Around my area, TM were doing some laying of cables in the past 2 weeks. Is this the reason for the slower speed?

Landed = FTTP (ie. Fibre into the premises)
Highrise = FTTC / VDSL (ie. Fibre into the building, copper to your unit)

Some new condos would have fibre to each unit, if the cable going into your modem is a standard phoneline cable you're on VDSL.
