REQUEST HOTLINK PLAN WITH VALIDITY 90/365

On January 15th 2017, I requested #Hotlink #Hotlink to change my Hotlink Fast Plan to a plan with validity 90/365 .

PM (Private Message) was sent to #Hotlink with all the required details, who subsequently replied in a short time that my request will be looked into.

I was given a case reference number for my request to change plan. A reminder from #Hotlink was to keep my line active throughout the whole process. This whole communication was all done through PM.
(You can PM #Hotlink on Desktop Version)

At the same time, I received an SMS from Maxis with the case reference number.

24 hours later, on January 16th 2017, I received notifications through SMS that my plan was changed to a plan with the following rates:
*Call rates to any Hotlink/Maxis numbers at 24sen/min & 5sen/SMS.*

Upon checking my account information through the EasyMenu*100# , I found out that my account was successfully changed to Hotlink Bagus WM !
With this plan, I am now able to purchase validity 90/365 !!

I'm posting this to show my gratitude to Hotlink/Maxis for their kindness in allowing the change of plan. This is also to inform those interested in changing plans, that it is possible to do so.

To those that require the Validity 90/365, submit all your requests to #Hotlink .

Submit all your personal details through PM only!
(Do not post your personal details in public for all to see!)
PM can be done in the Desktop Version.
The details required are as follows:


1. Full name
2. NRIC/passport whichever is applicable
3. Mobile number for the request
4. Alternate mobile number for communication
5. Last top-up (Date & Amount)
6. Reason for the request



To those that successfully managed to change your plan with Validity 90/365, please kindly come back to post here to share that you successfully got the Hotlink Bagus WM.

Please make sure that the number that you want to change plan has already been registered at least 3 months.
If it is less than 3 months, please wait until it is 3 months old, before you request for change to Bagus plan.
Require a minimum RM50 in credit balance.

I don't think you can convert Hotlink East Malaysia Plan to any plan.
If you want the Validity 90/365, my suggestion to you is to get a new number & submit request to #Hotlink to change plan.

I've successfully gotten one of my number changed to Bagus last November with no issues. Like you, I was given a case number shortly after providing all the info and proof of residency overseas. Few days later I was informed in PM and via SMS that the plan has successfully been changed to Bagus plan. The staff, Dexter attended to my case and was very helpful.

Yesterday, I requested for another of my number to be changed to Bagus plan. Once again, I provide all the details and proof/reason. This time, Andrea replied to say that I'll need to contact them after 3 months, have minimum RM50 in my credit balance and provide proof again. Hence, I did a top up but was rejected once again because my "activation date is less than 3 months". I've no idea what the activation date is. I assume it's the validity expiry date because Andrea mentioned the activation date is on 25/7 which is also when my validity expires. I've once again top up to extend the validity to 22/10 but was still rejected. #Hotlink replies to me now is basically "Sorry, please contact us after 3 months".

So I would like to know if any of you guys here who requested for this change of plan can explain what this 3 months wait is, because Hotlink isn't giving me a proper explanation.

The 3 months is calculated from the date you register the number, not validity. You can check the registered date with the CS by calling the Helpline.

Your account must be at least 3 months old before able to process change plan to Bagus. This is a new requirement for change plan to Bagus.

So check if your number is already registered 3 months old with the Hotlink CS.

Andrea mentioned 25/7, meaning you registered on 25th July. So my calculation is that 3 months after that, 26th. October only can change plan.

Hope you will get the change plan successfully.

My number has clearly been active for more than 3 months with Hotlink. Thanks for explaining that the account has to be at least 3 months old to be able to request for the change. I don't know why they got your registered date wrong. Should have been a straight forward change to Bagus plan for your number that is over 10 years loyal account with them.

hi bros, i have just renewed for 365 validity and $33 got deducted. New expiry is aug 2018.

do i still need to fulfill the T&C where i must top up a total of $30 within the next 6 mths to have the 365 valid?

May I know on this Bagus plan for validity 365, when you need to use internet, what are the options for internet passes? Thank you!

So for new subscriber, one must "simply" apply for any Hotlink plan first, then wait for 3 months, then only change to Bagus plan? Or we can actually straight away subscribe to a new Bagus plan (for a 2nd number or so)?

Validity365 plan is an obsolete plan and no longer offered to new subscriber. Please note that the request is subject to approval and your plan will be converted to Hotlink Bagus plan once it had been approved. Hotlink Bagus plan doesn't come with any free basic internet or free weekend data. Any usage of data without pre-purchase of data pass will be subject to pay-per-use charges.

Apart from that, we would like to inform that we only offer Hotlink FAST at the moment and Hotlink Bagus is no longer offered. Any new Hotlink number will be subscribed with Hotlink FAST.

hi, my mum old hotlink number don't have free basic internet, and want to maintain 365 validity option. Is there any plan provided both 365 validity and basic internet?
I dont aware that old hotlink have no free basic internet, turn on google website, RM 10 gone, wtf.

I suggest Hotlink put the 365 validity for Hotlink Red, it is so important for some people. I wish to stay with Hotlink since that old number is Campus Edition, many years already. Just provide 365 validity in Hotlink Red with reasonable price, nothing difficult right? So many Telco now in the market, keep yr customers first.
Unifi@mobile is so attractive. don't hv to waste money to buy validity.

hi there i have 365 currently but there is a wierd issue where i can choose 1 one subscription but somehow the system tells me i cant choose auto renewal - not sure what is wrong. Have pmed Hotlink separately on this cheers

You need to have credit MORE than RM33 in order to be able to see the option to purchase 365 validity.
So, you have to topup until your credit is more than RM33.
Otherwise you can’t see it on the apps.

(Do not post your personal details in public for all to see!)
PM can be done in the Desktop Version.
The details required are as follows:


1. Full name
2. NRIC/passport whichever is applicable
3. Mobile number for the request
4. Alternate mobile number for communication 
5. Last top-up (Date & Amount)
6. Reason for the request

To those that successfully managed to change your plan with Validity 90/365, please kindly come back to post here to share that you successfully got the Hotlink Bagus WM.

same, I make a request to change to Bagus plan, but no luck. Remember I did this 1 year before and it is successful even though it the new sim is bought just 1 day. No further requirement to change except they need ur phone details.

Now they add in 1 of the criteria which is hardly to fulfill unless you are oversea.

Request to change from Hotlink FAST 3.0 back to Hotlink Bagus.
It takes 3 working days to change with the help of the Hotlink LowYat forum Operator.

Of course, after change to this plan, straight away purchase the validity 365 on the easymenu(*100#).

The validity 90/365 plan is only available for our previous Hotlink plan which doesn't come with the Free Basic Internet (Hotlink Bagus Plan is one of it).

no need. Even without enough credit, the option is always there. Just need to navigate to the right menu via *100#.

Hi, can anyone help me. I want to help my grandfathers' hotlink wm to subscribes to 365 validity plan. He only use Nokia button phone and only use it for calls only. It's waste of money for him to keep top up for validity only. Currently he accumulated rm350++. I cannot find the validity 365 in the *100# menu. Thank you.

Hi, no need as your validity would be for 365 days.
Do check under *100# > MyAccount to confirm on your end date.

Hi Maxis
On the hotlink red plan but working overseas so low usage
Appreciate advice on how to top up to keep no. alive.

i understand validity is only dependent on how much i top up e.g RM30 for 30 days etc
Should i top up when it active period expiry or should i do it only before grace period ends? is it still 50 days for hotlink red plan ? Or should i switch plan ?

I'm happy to have hotlink plan changed to bagus plan through lowyat forum by Maxis team, as 365 validity is very important to me. It took about a month but it works.
I sincerely thank all Maxis operators who has been assisting me and all lowyat users who has been sharing their experience with everyone.

I ported from hotlink bagus plan to yoodo eSIM (Yes, because I need eSIM).
And the minimum plan which is SMS plan, RM3/month. So, 1 year is about RM36 month can give you 365 validity.

Whenever I need it for internet, I just buy the add on 2GB, RM12 for a month.
