this is one of the super ultimate nice game XD and of coz, chrono cross.... after ff6 ...... and i dun thin square remake this game

One of the games released the latest in the SNES, and has great graphics for its time, awesome gameplay, well just rocks.
Truly a classic. Haven't played CC yet though, never owned a console beyond the Dreamcast. |

sheesh... dangerous gila cakap pasal emulator on these boards...
 well, i still remember a long time ago playing chrono trigger remake on psone, never got around to finishing it, what a pity... i have very short attention span, so i just play it for 10+ hours then stop playing it already, hoping nintendo releases it on their virtual console, that is if i can get my hands on a wii! |

oh yea..my 1st RPG !!so amaze last time i can beat all SNES japan rpg...

i seriously hope is a 2D ver...serioously...i saw some web post the magazine pic...but not clear...but it seems like is 3d...god..Square Enix..pls dun spoil ur own masterpiece...

well..confirm DS ver resolution will not be high..u get wat i mean now?if they redo the art work then of cos i admit DS is nicer..but from wat we can see now..is SNES port...is more like vitrual console title than a remake title..example..all those FF port on GBA..u think is nicer than SNES ver?stronger hardware doesnt mean the port title will be nicer...example donkey kong country on GBA...now i just wish the ds 1 will include all the anime and some new scene then i will be kinda happy if they din improve the graphic..

The DS doesn't need high resolution on such a small screen, any higher resolution would be useless, and low resolution look best the way it is. Besides, some screenshots shows the gaming making use of both screen to show a scene, not exactly a port now is it? Well, maybe a port with changes. Also, just because the graphics look identical doesn't mean the game will play exactly the same as the snes version, I bet there'll be new elements here and there utilize the DS's dual-screen(or touch) capability. LUMINAIR!!~ KAPOW 9999 dmg. I played this to death last time, think I got 6 out of 13 endings. I even speed-ran this game on new game + with a time of 6 1/2 hours I think. Doesn't warrant a repurchase for me  But great game nontheless |

I've managed to ask my supplier to help me bring in 3 copies of Chrono Trigger DS. These 3 copies are reserved for Corez, PM, and Andy.
Why 3? because those 3 are about to use Amazon to ship and Amazon is a bit more expensive than Play Asia by RM5. That includes all the shipping costs. Also, this is to gauge how much the supplier's price will be. I know Squeenix isn't cheap and they handle their own distribution. So i decided to see what I can do to help you guys with. If in any case my supplier's price is expensive, I will limit the price to Play Asia's price which is Rm162. If it is cheap, rest assured I will order more for others. Now, lets pray for the best. |

Yes, Magus has always been playable but couldn't perform any form of Tri-attack (can't remember what is it called, 3 person combination attack)

there's a save game after completing the game then you get to start a new game with levels, items and money from that save. it takes less than 10 hours for the next play through so can get endings you couldn't get there again

Just finished the game yesterday, I think Lavos is much harder in this DS version than the Super Nintendo version. Have to power level for my party to survive Lovos' 2 hit KO attacks.
Gonna try New Game + later today. |

i beg to differ. usually se titles are the ones who will get price drop eventually. if you see the game at usd44, my advice is not to get it since most of them will be sold at usd35 at play asia. same thing goes to chrono trigger and we might see a price decrease soon enough if you can wait. patience is virtue mah.

hmm, maybe i went for the easier router but i didnt encounter any lavos 2 hit ko attacks.
anyway, lavos battle was quite easy and finally obtain my first ending. i brought crono, magus and frog into the last battle! |
