Hi,

E spec owner here.
I was told that if we install a reverse camera, it will need to connect to the power on the reverse light thus tampering with the cabling.
Will it void the warranty?

nope, didnt void any warranty and did not tamper any cabling. I manage to claim warranty even after installing the reverse camera.

Youre E spec as well.
E does not have lcd screen.
So i was considering those rearview mirror cam. But was told the needed to connect the back cam to the rear light cabling.

Quick question.
Do you guys rotate the use of your main n spare key?
Is it recommended?

good for battery conservation.

I rotate the key after service. let say, for second service, i use the spare one. Third service, rotate back to main one.

Noted. Will try to rotate them.
Thanks.

hello jazz owner, was looking to buy jazz, wanted new car for warranty period but higher spec is just way more expensive.

theres one car put on sale V spec 2014 model with 28k mileage RM 65k

can advise if its worth it ? buying for weekend car.. or it will be wiser to just buy new S spec ?

I think you're a little late.
Nov and Dec discount, you could've gotten the E spec below 70k, V would've been below 80k.

Guys,
I purchased my jazz in end nov and went for my 1k service early jan.
I noticed on my invoice, my next service is stated as early july.

Is that correct?
Does the 6 months start from my previous service.

Thanks

Thanks.
I believe i read that the 6 months 10k service is based from the date of registration. Kinda confused now.

same, I purchase my city at 23-Jan 17, 1k service at 8-March-17, next service at 8-Sept-17 or 10k as stated in the sticker on top of windscreen

Alright, guess i'll follow the date 6 months after 1st service then.
Thanks

Hi guys,

Just wanted to check.
For Jazz 2016 model, the coolant to use is type 1 or type 2?
And is it normal for the coolant to go close to the min' level for a 13month car on 12k mileage?

Hi guys,

I'm a owner of a 2016 Jazz E.
I noticed that the 2017 Jazz, seems to have a lower maintenance cost based on the schedule. Aren't they the same car (engine)? Do let me know if i'm wrong here.

Intervals for oil filter seems to be 20k while dust and pollen filter interval is also longer than the 2014-2016 model's schedule.

Is it possible to have honda follow the 2017 model's schedule? Has anyone tried that?
Would appreciate your input.

Hi guys,

I'm trying to replace one side of the back tail lamp of my jazz 2016 E-spec. Would probably get an OEM one since the original is pricey. I would like to know if the stock ones that came with the car has only one variant or does other spec like V or later version have different specs.

Thanks

Not sure 2016 version, but 2017 FL; one(1) tail lamp assembly (the whole plastic mould + housing + bulbs) around 200~300. Can try look at half cut shop/shopee/lelong.

Thanks.
Was looking at shopee and there seems to be those from Taiwan and China.
Not sure what's the difference.
