yup, its DiGi 3G signal.

using W880i? Any 3G indicator at ur phone? 47kbps slower than edge speed... 3G still under testing stage i suppose

so far digi EDGE is best suit me..even thou it's quite slow (if compare to maxis n celcom)..but still a thumbs up fr me..i went to maxis store d other for a try out of their broadband..unfortunately no coverage at all in my apartment s i stayed in the 16th floor..luckily i did not terminate my digi edge immediately (i tot of terminating it)..and guess wat..i pay ony rm56/ mth for the unlimited usage!!..da cheapest i could find..looking forward for digi 3g!!!

nope, no 3g indicator at my phone, so that probably is gprs ..>.>..

still consider whether to get a usb modem or just use my phone to connect to internet....

ehhh... y only gprs.. no EDGE?
ur phone suppose support EDGE as well but what I heard
some fon not support EDGE... so maybe thats y u only can receive GPRS or UMTS

usb modem cheapest still need around Rm480

w880 either gprs or 3g...unless w890i

what can i do, my other sony phone can edge but my sister using it...>.>!
so i was thinking to get a usb modem or new phone.......

how bout w810i
mine is edge although now im using w960
i think w810i now become cheaper...

haha, that model is what i want to buy first before change the order to w880i...
i just need a device that can support GPRS/EDGE/3G/3.5G....
or i just get usb modem from digilife...

i think u can use w910i although bit expensive...
but my advise if u r heavy user... use modem either usb or datacard...

but thats old movie with seeder around 50 only...
not try yet with thousand of seeder but i believe speed should increase...

modem definitely built much better to gain signal, get one if affordable.

depend the seed

for torrent is best if can modified the max connection that window have [10 max]
long time ago i can modified winxp max connection to 50 but now cant , also don't why..

for the 3g signal that some people phone detect, maybe need to use 128kb sim card like celcom or other since now all digi sim card just 64 kb.....
anyway is i use my phone to connect,

Not sure about Digi EDGE but i read somewhere in this subforum that a forummer had his phone K.O (motorola v3x i think) after 'abusing' his phone through 3G connection after like 6 months.

hmmmm, still can consider to use phone since it 6 month baru KO.....
conform 6 month? not 1 or 2 month?....18 hour non stop at place that only have kipas......sure can last 6 month....

i heard also some forumer already burn their hp due excess use of bb service.. if not mistaken from celcom thread...
my opininon is use modem cause its design for internet. For HP noramally it use for light user of internet

i think is 2 year ago, i use my sony phone to connect to digi dprs for almost a month. every day, i touch the hp, i can boil the egg with the heat...>.>!

even u use the modem also u can feel the heat.. however, modem air circulation is better than HP and its circuit less comlicated compare HP.. This also make why better use modem for better signal, stability and durability.
