QUOTE(flyingteeku @ Feb 4 2017, 01:38 PM) The more high risk is the CVT since it was a failure in 4th Gen city...which Honda decided to exclude in 5th Gen...not sure if 6th Gen can be reliable as what Honda claimed..touch wood, no one encounter this yet... rest assure Honda Vtec engine very reliable and robust... From what I have read before about the gearbox on that generation is if you keep at 120km/h for an extended period of time it will be worn out. When I drive out of town I varied my speed a bit just to play safe. Honda said this gen is fixed but you'll never know. |

The last 2 generation Honda City is equipped with the Start Clutch CVT system, the new City now comes with the Torque Converter CVT. Both are different mechanics in all aspects and are not related. Conventional Torque Converter CVTs are know for its reliability as the same system is being used by Toyota and Nissan cars that comes with CVT. |

QUOTE(EdenHazard17 @ Feb 5 2017, 11:35 PM) The quality is not consistent for these aftermarket parts. plus there is a risk in the durability as well. well there is a risk to take else get the Grace LED headlamp which is brighter than the current Civic led headlamps. |

No one would buy a new car and only drive below 100km/h....120km/h is normal speed in NKVE and Federal Highway ....I dont think our new gen cvt will have this issue |

DIY lo, open engine oil cover and pour in only ma. If you opt to buy this from SC also they give you the bottle only, you do yourself. |
