If anyone wants to subscribe to webe, make sure your minimum data usage is 100Gb. If below than that, it's better to choose another telco.

Now, many telco offer 1Gb for RM3 for daily plan.
My calculation example as below.

You pay webe RM84 for unlimited data.
With this price you got 28Gb with maxis and celcom daily plan RM3 = 1Gb

If you are burung hantu type, with RM84 you got 120Gb as RM7 for 10Gb. (promotion time RM7=20Gb)

With other telco, you don't get speed capped, so it will save your download time also no tethering restriction.

If you only use 5-20Gb monthly, stay away from webe. Don't get frustrated with problems.

Thank you for the info. I think I'll bite the bullet and port my celcom to webe, see how it goes. If not satisfied, port back to Celcom. It is still possible to do this right?
*
If u edy comfortable with Celcom, no point port to webe (unless u r heavy mobile data user).

Please bear in mind that webe has quirks below (to certain extent):
1) TAC banking will have issue at times (reduced to 10% failure rate as of today).
2) 2-Step authentication for GMail/Outlook/Yahoo/PlayStation/etc may not work 90%.
3) Apple services (FaceTime/iMessage/etc) may not work 99%.
4) Call drops may happen depending on cell towers and congestion.

Anyone had issue with webe customer service feedback? promise me to contact me after 5-working days. today already 7-days, when live chat ask them to please check my complain. no avail, need to complain again. sigh.
*
Every complaint should be followed by Official email with report number in the email. Most probably the person who handle ur enquiry was a noob. Very unfortunate....

I saw the advertisement says 9,999,999GB never-ending data! But how fast is the data transfer speed? Their web page so confusing I cannot find it in their website.

QUOTE(($) @ Feb 8 2017, 04:30 PM)
I know that, I'm not new to this. What I want to know is that at least tell me what is the minimum speed that I could get.
*
Sorry for the miscommunication among the forumers...

Let me try to understand your enquiry...

Based on my experience, the MINIMUM DL/UL speed regardless of my location and time is 1Mbps DL and 0.5Mbps UL. I'm using webe mobile plan with LeMoto P2.

Hope my answer is helpful "as a guide" but not "as the ultimate benchmark". Your results may vary "significantly"...

Perhaps, you are keen to read the fine prints below:

Some important FAQs and fine prints:

Hence, my statement of "the MINIMUM DL/UL speed regardless of my location and time is 1Mbps DL and 0.5Mbps UL. I'm using webe mobile plan." is valid.

Not many realised that this 12 Feb (Sunday) is the deadline of RM79 promo for mobile. Tomorrow should be busy ppl porting-in and the webe website soon will be halted once more.

Try your nearest TMPoint first. Else, Sunway Pyramid but the queue might be long....

OT:

My neighbor got the free UniFi Upgrade Surprise Promo to 50/20Mbps. I already discussed with him to share the subscription 50-50. He agrees. I also advise him to approach the next neighbor to share UniFi too so that all three of us pay evenly...

Now, I can just tap his Wi-Fi to get fast broadband at home for all my selected appliances...

Actually, I had terminated UniFi ever since subscribed to webe mobile. Now, with "rental" UniFi with my neighbor, I can get constant high speed connection at home too to all my PCs, Smart TVs, etc. Of course, only certain appliances will connect to his Wi-Fi due to security and privacy concerns...No need to hack/VPN/TMGo/etc anymore....Win-win situations to all...

Monthly damage:
Webe mobile staff plan = 59/month
UniFi "rental" with neighbor = RM85/month..(will be RM57/month if 3 ppl shares later...)

your neighbor on the router 24/7?

it is said the electrical tariff would be raised in 2nd half of 2017
*
Yes. He always turn on the router. I don't see the increase in the electrical tariff will have "significant" effect to one (1) router. If air-conditioning, then, yes... I have 3 air-conditionings all 1.5 HP... Will monitor the electricity bill from time-to-time...

For me always not-so-great speed.
LTE around 5Mbps ( normal I guess as P1 sucks )
3G also 3-7Mbps ( not normal as friend on Celcom line can get 17Mbps when test as the same place same time )

Ur area is almost congested just like inside Plaza Mont' Kiara below...
