1. Preferred brand : Any, except Dell and HP, have had bad experiences with them in the past.
2. Budget : Below 9K
3. Usage : daily usage (web, downloads, movies), gaming rarely
4. Screen Size : 15" or 17"
5. RAM : Flexible
6. HDD : HDD + SSD (optional)
7. Appearance : Any
8. Laptop type: Any

I have considered Asus, but have heard horror stories about overheating issues on their current ROG lines and warranty issues which turn me off. If you change my mind about them, will definitely consider them.

Thanks!

budget : around 3k (max 3.5k)
usage : heavy browsing a lot and light gaming
proc : prefer i7
screen size : doesnt matter as long as its FHD
ram : 8GB
storage : SSD is preferable
size of the laptop : the lighter the better

can topup extra if my budget doesnt meet my requirement. my main concern is tab in and out without lagness and load games quickly

1. Preferred brand : No preference but preferably with good quality as I need it to last at least 2 years.
2. Budget : hopefully less than RM2000. (Max RM2500 if it is worth)
3. Usage : For movie and study. Might need simulation (science related stuff). Ocassionally gaming.
4. Screen Size : No preference

Sorry did not observe laptop market for years, already outdated.
I'll going to buy it at June~July. Thanks for the help. smile.gif

Just for the design and their power but lots of complaints about overheating and warranty issues which make me less confident in them. Am looking at Illegear and MSI now.
