1. Preferred brand : Any brand used or new, no celeron. or less than i3
2. Budget : Not more than 3.5K,
3. Usage : normal office usage + video streaming
4. Screen Size : 13/14/15
5. video card : no preference
6. dvd\cd tray: no need
7. RAM : 4GB
8.Weight : less than 1.6kg with battery

I've seen a few laptops and liked the following:

Lenovo 320s 13" FHD i5- 8th Gen

Asus Zenbook UX430 and UX410 14" FHD i5 - 7th Gen

Asus Zenbook S15 S510 15.6" FHD i5 - 8th Gen

Like these for their weight and general build quality, and don't need a touchscreen or gaming capability, just office work (so need a good keyboard, screen and durability) and movies.

Need a FHD screen and am currently using a 12.5" so want something bigger - not sure if 13" is big enough or if 15" is enough.

I would go for the 14" Asus, but I guess the 8th gen will be released soon - any idea when?

Appreciate ideas and offers from sifus - thanks

1. Preferred brand : Any brand (preferably not a gaming laptop)
2. Budget : 4k-6k
3. Usage : normal university usage, some coding, video streaming, some gaming
4. Screen Size : 14,15

Kinda interested eyeing on the Dell XPS 15. It looks promising but the question is should I wait for the 8th generation HQ to come out or should I just get the current one?
