If u install alarm only. You will get a remote control and when you press it your car will arm or disarm. But you still need to open all your door manually.
If you install central lock only. You will not able to get the remote control because central lock only come with wiring and pistols gun. You will be an idiot if you install like that. Because you will not able to use your central lock system since you don't have lock or unlock signal from the remote.
Alarm + central lock system is like man+women you need both otherwise it won't work. Understand?

It is said here in /k that the light is just indicator and will not affect anything with eco mode on or off. Get the bulb replaced if still under warranty

i believe that it's just an indicator that tells u when you're driving with high fuel efficiency

can on/off the indicator by:
step 1; press the toggle until u reach "Eco-Mode"
step 2; long press to on/off the led indicator
