HyppTV SD channel is using MPEG4 video codec.
While Astro SD channel is using MPEG2 video codec. Of course MPEG4 is way more better than MPEG2. Still waiting for Astro to upgrade from MPEG2 to MPEG4 video codec. Astro always give this reason(Most Astro customer using CRT TV than HDTV). What a stupid reason. No upgrade technology and leasing the new Measat 3b satellite. |

4:3 content like Astro when stretched to a 16:9 wide-screen, will yield images that are horizontally stretched. This results in images that are wider than usual, not ‘thin and tall’ as stated.

Starting 20 June 2017, Korean Pack will now available without additional charges to every Super Packs customers. Korean Pack consists of 2 HD channels, which are Oh!K (ch394) and tvN (ch395).
