thxs to Uncle Wala (for robbing me of my $$$ LOL!) i got my mylarone M3 this aftrn all the way from JB. didnt realy want to give any impressions til its properly burn-in but what the hell....! here's my $0.02 on the M3 on the 1st day.

initial impression with the M3 as fitted with medium tips is....clean, clear but seriously lean. wtf happened to the bass and highs???   dicked around with the tips and finally settled on the large (funny as i usualy take medium) as it provided me with the best seal. ahh...much better! bass is deeper and highend extension seems better. overall, initial impressions are of creamy smooth butter. no hint of any sibilance or fatigue which is excellent for brand new cans. left it playing with the shuffle even when im not listening.....

8 hours later, i finally got home and tried it again. not 2much changes from before and im still having a b**** of a time with fit. man...the provided tips sure sux. i hope mylarone improves on this. wait, i remembered i had some leftover tips from a long forgotton philips she9500. dug it out and tried it the L tips. much better fit as the silicon is slightly harder than the M3. WoW! big bass so much so its almost 2much but it seems i mite have lost abit of highend extension.

for those M3 owners who think its lean, find the right tips to give u the best seal. trust me the bass is there and IMO more than enuff for fing tau kakis .

so for the 1st day, not too bad. big bad bass but slightly muffled rolled off highs (she9500 tips) or leaner bass but cleaner upper end (ori tips). almost like 2fons in 1!   with either tips, smooth's the word. the M3 has smooth and silky written all over. dont quote me now but of all the porty cans i own, the M3 reminds me of the AT ES7 but less refined in the bass and not as detailed overall (for now).

remember folks this is only the 1st day. i expect some changes (or as in the case of the ES7 and iM716, massive changes) in about 100-200 hours of burn-in. once burn-in, i mite do a proper portable battle comparo of M3 against Koss75, iM716 and the ES7. again this is only my opinion and YMMV. enjoy

edited on: FWIW, except for the initial 15mins with the shuffle, all of my listening were done with the M3 amped (with either GV6 driven by 24v PSU  and Tomahawk) offa ipod lineout.

Darn you walabies!! You should've said that they were out of stock!! Now I'm very contemplated to get a pair. OK, give me a quote. On the other hand, just keep it in mind first as I won't be around. I'll be going to China for 2-3 weeks. If I'm lucky enough, I might bring back some goodies. Some LD tube amps perhaps?   
I wouldn't know as I haven't really tested them yet. But I did a very quick test just now and... well.. it sort of loosens things up a bit. Without the amp, they sounds very controlled, taut, and sometimes can be clinical (depending on the music you're listening to). With the amp, it adds some warmness, opens up the soundstage a little bit, but the bass can be a little bit overwhelming (again, depends on the music you're listening too). Hmm.. I suspect it will sound better with better source. More critical listening later..

And who said the M3s are comparable to HD650??? I'd like to meet this guy  You don't want the M3s to be listed in the top ten most overrated phones do you?

hmm... happen to read on a review portal.. and got this links over uncle google's listing... it seems that this mylarone thingy were produced in sorts of OEM to OVC (china brand.. well quite well known by now within the nation itself).

err.. dun get me wrong.. i'm not here to offence the well-done-with-fair-cheap-price IEM here.. hehe..  i myself bought mylarone and mylarone 3 from yuheng.. just wondering are our mylarone = clone of OVC tc20?

There are lots of ear tips. Tri-flange, bi-flanges, soft tips, foamies, customs...
A good one. Get from me lo. Depend on what size, what module you want.
A good ear tip gives you a good seal, and thus producing better sound.

first impression was that it was damn clear and bright...but lack in bass

went home,burnt it in for 30 mins...

the change was clear....

the bass had increased..

and i finally found out how to use the biflange lol

and i feel that the biflange is slightly louder and also have a deeper bass than the stock sleeve...

hi, new owner of M3 here just COD today and burning in. They sound more crisps and clearer than my previous sennheiser IE4. The bass felt more solid and I can adjust the deepness of it.

Oh and I tested it with Meizu M6 ^^

By the way, there's red and blue colour and which one indicates R and L?

so far i only use 25% of my Ipod Volume... normally use more than 50%...even in noisy enviroment...and sound is still good...at 25%...

Got my M3 from yuheng at 12.30 pm today...great guy man...will write a review once the 50 hours burn-in mark finishes...

quick first impresion compared to my first IEM (of that hpm70) that the soundstage is better...but will let guys know of the outcome later

just a quick noob question from me since i want it to pair the m3 with my treo650...is the m3 specs equivalent to that of m1 as follows :-

I wanted to get a custom impedance adapter (either a 75ohm or a 150 ohm) but do not know which to choose not knowing about the m3 specs.

the ori treo 650 headset carries 32 ohm to its speakers...my worry is that would m3 be capable delivering even better than those of my ori treo headset.

yes i may be pairing the m3 and treo 650 with a portable amp that is why i the reason im thinking of getting the impedance cable.

how is the bi flange compared to the stock sony sleeve that comes with the m3?

considering of changing the stock sleeve for better isolation...

Have been listening to the Mylar3 that I got from you and I have to say I am very impressed. I'm a noob so don't know how to describe what's so great about this IEM but I know I can hear details that I never noticed before using the Sennheiser PX100 and the sound is really nice.

So far have only gone thru around 6 hours of burn-in and will be doing more to see how the sound develops 

Btw, here's a noob question.. how do I know I have the IEM properly fitted when I use it? I've not tried the different earbud sizes bundled with the Mylar3, the one it comes with I can wear although it's a little difficult to get a proper seal. And I don't know whether it's because I'm not putting it in properly or I need to use a smaller one.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! 

Well, today I changed from medium to small and it is now much easier to wear. No need to struggle to fit in properly and get a good seal 

I feel the seal is the same whether I use the medium or small tip, but for some strange reason it almost feels like the sound is a little better when using the medium tip. Maybe it's just my imagination 

I see. So is there a way for me to get better sound isolation but not have to struggle to stuff the IEM into my ears? Anything in between the small and medium tips?
