Yes, however, you are advised not to do that unless emergency as the money which is less than a year in the fund will be charged a redemption fee of 1% upon withdrawal

I invest rhb emerging market no redemption fee only platform fee 0.05%. Now already receive return 0.8% hehe

No, it can be partial redemption although in my case, I did full redemption.

Never mind. I can go out in a blaze of glory. rclxms.gif

On a serious note, if we are long term investors, the short term fluctuation does not matter. No point trying to time the market or to determine whether the NAV is too "expensive". It is impossible.

So anyone want to talk about the funds for "high net worth" investors? I have an invitation to a luncheon in which they are promoting AFFIN HWANG ABSOLUTE RETURN FUND II. The returns for it look crazy. 18.49 annualized return over the past 5 years.

This is my investment chart currently. Separate in all 20% in each segment. Kinda proud of it as today I have already profit 0.21% even after deducting off the 1% sales charge for beginners since end of Jan 2017. laugh.gif

Actually I selected based on technical chart data only based on 2 years record. I didn't read the fund fact at all. After reviewing most of the funds, I selected these assuming them to be in the uptrend mode. (using support and resistance line)

For stock market it works kinda like this especially during good/average times, but not sure if I could apply the same method on funds.

actually are HNW funds better at performing than the regular funds?

i mean if I have 100k would it be better to break it up into a portfolio rather than lump sum into one particular fund?

sad that I'm born poor. I have to start building my assets from the ground up.

Not all of them.. they take on a lot more risk though, because investors can afford it smile.gif this doesn't always turn out to be more rewarding, but sometimes it does.

They are shorting EM and US, buying China and Malaysia.
