AMB 4.1- 3yrs min 50k

Had an FD matured in KFH yesterday, I transferred the funds to my Affin account in Bukit Tinggi Klang branch.
This morning went in to place for the 24 month tenure @ 4.25% per annum.
At the counter, the lady says to me, "I give you 4.3% lah", I told her "yes please, thank you very much".
The amount I had place is not big (less than 30K) and further more, no need new funds, so I could add in some money from my savings to top up the FD.
However, the interest will only credit in when mature.

Affin don't require to open any savings account with them.

You can withdraw cash / cheque upon maturity

I placed mine at Kepong branch.

Yesterday went to Affin Bank. 4.40% for 12 months.

From 15 November until 31 December 2018.

if you don't want to create CASA, then interest upon maturity. If you want CASA, and want internet banking access, then bear in mind you will have to pay annually RM8 for the debit card... 

Affin Bank promos

The previous promos at good rates ended on 7 May for 4.4 % p1m13, p1m15 etc.

By 10 May at 4.15 % p663m15.

All the above expired now and replaced by new Hari Raya promo.

Great! Any specific documents needed for CASA opening at Affin? Some banks can be quite fussy .

OTC? or e-FD? is this meant for new fund?

I just placed the 15-month one this afternoon at 4.23%. Interest payment is 6 monthly. I think the 12 month one is 4.05%

Earlier, I called Affin Bank customer service and also a few Affin branches but none offer 15M 4.23%. Would appreciate those managed to place FD at 15M 4.23% , please let us know is from which Affin branch.

I could still place 13m 4.15% at pj branch today
