You can choose not to activate. That’s perfectly fine. Their task is to pitch. Nice thanks |

Hypothetical question:
Affin FD says must mark 10% CASA. The amount will be locked/inaccessible in the Saving account? or we can still withdraw the amount? Accidentally withdraw a portion of marked money how? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Apr 13 2021, 03:59 PM) "Customer may proceed to request for early upliftment of the earmark amount and perform necessary transactions for example, withdrawal or closing of CASA."Correct me if I am wrong, from the text: This means we must go to Branch OTC and request for the marked CASA to be released? |

QUOTE(??!! @ Apr 13 2021, 06:41 PM) Hypothetical question will remain just that. thx. make sense. its dummy proof thenIf amount is earmarked, there's no way one can 'ter'withdraw..can see amount reduced from 'available funds." Unless you go to branch and tell them to uplift, in which case, your fd promo kaput Sometimes busy times can make dumb mistakes. |

QUOTE(??!! @ Apr 14 2021, 04:52 PM) Know where you are coming from. oh dear I was in the same situation previously..just that I forgot about the earmarking in AFFIN and I withdrew the money. On remembering the earmarking condition, and wondering how I managed to 'ter' withdraw, realise that Affin staff actually forgot to earmark the amount Consequently did you manage to reach out to AFFIN to allow you to "Put back the amount into Savings A/C" ? This case it is also part of AFFIN banks fault right |

Hey, last year march/April take precaution stay at home so let the FD maturity lapse and auto renew board rate.
It says on the cert mature 21 April 2020. So. Let says Year 2020 is Leap year so there is 366 days. Does that mean this year it will mature on 22 April 2021? want to apply leave to do so want to avoid going wrong day. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by alvinfks78: Apr 15 2021, 10:23 AM |

QUOTE(Hobbez @ Apr 16 2021, 04:07 AM) BTW, why is everyone talking like Ambank is the best and only FD choice? HLB 6 months earmark 10% is it Hong Leong is giving a good rate for 6 months, although got 10% earmark. 2.55% And 3.6% rate if apply for their credit card combo (1.6% FD and 2% into CC). The only condition is to spend RM200+ per month for 6 months. This is like a cash rebate.... FD OTC or online exclusive? |
