After IBG at Muamalat, I went over to Am bank to place the 4.4% FD. The staff said I need to open Am star ? Accounts.
I already have saving accounts, basic saving without fee, true saver, true??
I do not want to open another SA....I walked out....

May be tomorrow go to Bank Islam. Bank Islam needs SA. The yearly fee is Rm12.+

if saving rates, say 0.5%, RM 100k*0.05/12 x 2 days = RM 27.78??

sorry, that's typo. I divided it by 12*30 ..... and got RM 27.

but actually another error is 0.5%  = 0.005, not 0.05. Missed 1x zero.

I remember for islamic saving they cannot charge service. Conventional saving you have to refer to their website.

I think maybank agro uob have no charges. hongleong charge if lower than some amount and also if you have their card.

Maybe those are the charges of debit card.

Guys, my CIMB 4.1 FD is ending at End of June. Any delicious rate happening recently? I can accept 6 months -12 months but must be more than 4.1%

I placed at ambank 4.4% 12 months today over the counter (OTC)

Where can we find more info about CIMB 4.4% rate? Can't find any info in CIMB website. Can only do it over the counter?

I was saying 3 tiers, but who knows for sure. I was never asked about CASA in conjunction with FD placement in CIMB. Forget it as then the actual FD eff rate is lower.

UOB 4.35% still lower than 4.4% offered by CIMB or even AmBank. 

guys anyone place on islamic or normally conventional? i notice 1 different on the maturity date. if discuss before i am sorry....i placed both in different type, and islamic need another 1 day on maturity.

I never ask RENTAS but I think should be RM5.30..as the teller told me " Lima ringgit lebih" I move to Ambank 4.4%
