Hi. My UOB FD had matured and I just uplift it today and transferred to UOB saving account.
At first I plan to transfer to MBB, and then tomorrow transfer back to UOB savings, so it will be considered as fresh funds.

But the whole process is troublesome. UOB to MBB online can transfer max 80k per day which is good enough, but have to install their mighty apps for authorization  I have never used their apps before. UOB is purely for FD purpose.
Then MBB to UOB online max limit is 30k per day. I need 3 days only can transfer from MBB to UOB.

So what is the best convenient way?

the new UOB is troublesome, for transaction more than RM10,000 required to use their what Mighty app, end up go down to branch to perform the transaction at counter.

Check your daily FPX limit instead of daily transfer limit. For example, Public Bank has a daily transfer limit of 20K but its FPX limit goes as high as 100K.

appreciate it if someone can assist me, still bloody confused with the CIMB 5% 3 months thing.

if let's say I wanna put FD for 50k, 3 months. Does this mean that I can only get 5% interest out of 3/4 of the 50k (i.e. 37500)? the balance 1/4 must be kept in savings without accruing interest?

FD rate will be lower soon...

The transfer limits on FPX slowed many people down for sure. Many missed the boat for sure.
