Just notice that if Ambank maturity falls on a state public holiday, the system will not auto-adjust to the next day.

Ambank FD placed on 23-Apr-21, maturing date 24-Oct-22 for 18 month, interest crediting every 6 months.

The final interest was credited on 23-Oct-22 (Sunday).

And since 24-Oct-22 (Monday) is a public holiday, the maturity date auto-adjust to 25-Oct-22.

Means I lose 1 day or 2 days interest in this case? hmm.gif

add: From 23-Apr-21 to 25-Oct-22 is 551 days (end and last date included)

Yeah, remembered that. I was expecting the final interest to be credited together with the auto-adjusted date, but instead it is credited on a day before the previous maturing date instead.

As expected, 1 day of interest was credited today, short of 1 day. Went to the branch to uplift the certs and also to get the ABM to check.
