I think we can get 3.95% with the SMS but the branch staff may grab the opportunity to try to sell us their other more profitable products.
My guess is the renewed FD will become OTC FD instead of eFD. If HLB no longer feels like offering 6M@3.95% due to the changes in external environment, then it has achieved its goal coz many people won't be visiting the branches to renew their FDs.
*
if the staff start the 1st sentence for other investment products, i will stop them directly. no face given lol
im here for FD, unless u tell me i cant just do FD without listen other plan, then i will make sure manager is coming out from room.

Which branch u got at 4.15%...today i went to tmn maluri, was told only 3.9% for 12 mth...no more 4.15%
*
is staff dont know themselves sometimes, not branch's problem
even good bank like hong leong also same, i went for 3.95% show them sms, he dont know at all, then ask the senior/manager staff, only know.
and figure very long in front of me on how to make it 3.95% in system, took almost 40mins to do a fd renewal LOL
board rate for affin is 4.15% , impossible certain branch dont have it, this is not promo ==

Nice to know that there is a new promotion offer by Affin @3.9%/12m but unfortunately the rates are lower now compared to last 2 months. I guess better than nothing.

I think people who got family & bills payer will know RM3,000/mth is enough or not to live in KL  ?
(Everything, child education, rent, transport, food, tele-communication, internet, water, electric, building maintenance/ management fee, house insurance, car insurance, medical, quit rent/ assessment etc)

I just went to a hypermarket (for cleaning product & toilet paper) & pasar malam today,
a bottle of Dettol liquid (1 litre) is selling at RM45.60, detergent powder - K1000 5Kg is RM13.50, Cutie compact 30s rolls is RM42.60, Kleenex 20s - normal roll RM26.80, Garlic is RM7.99/kg
A piece of apam balik is RM3.00 (hawker said he is consider to raise to RM3.50 soon, since everything "naik harga sekarang"...  sad.gif

hi Cookie, can share with me the place that you take moderate food which cost less than RM6.50/meal in KL, especially, wan-tan mee or economy mix rice, I really very keen to know sincerely, it can help me to save some cost, thank you first.  rclxms.gif

This will be the last post, regarding the issue, I am tired & I think is already out of topic for FD thread here.
The more discuss, the more away from original thread.

I not go to university, please use simple language, want to scold, just say it, dun write quote, ok? I lazy -lah to use Google Translate to get its meaning.

Hai ... People want to believe will believe, dun want to believe, no matter say what also dun believe, I will stop at here, very tiered already.

still can use dettol , im not even using it for my past 30 years .
