I think we can get 3.95% with the SMS but the branch staff may grab the opportunity to try to sell us their other more profitable products.
My guess is the renewed FD will become OTC FD instead of eFD. If HLB no longer feels like offering 6M@3.95% due to the changes in external environment, then it has achieved its goal coz many people won't be visiting the branches to renew their FDs.

I just came back from bank, Affin 4.23% offer had finish liao !    now only left board rate 13-60mths at 4.15%p.a

CIMB only got 4.7% &  with CASA 3 : 1, board rate is 3.8%p.a for 12 mths and 3.85%p.a for 6 mths

RHB offer 3.9%p.a for 10 mths

Ambank no offer but was told e-FD is around 3.3%p.a, (please log-in to double confirm if interested)

OCBC no offer temporary

HLB e-FD is 3.7%p.a for 3mths, (except for those got sms offer at special rate 3.95%)

Forgot to go to Bank Islam - please update me if anyone is just happen to get to know any offer ...

Which branch u got at 4.15%...today i went to tmn maluri, was told only 3.9% for 12 mth...no more 4.15%

Nice to know that there is a new promotion offer by Affin @3.9%/12m but unfortunately the rates are lower now compared to last 2 months. I guess better than nothing.

I think people who got family & bills payer will know RM3,000/mth is enough or not to live in KL  ?
(Everything, child education, rent, transport, food, tele-communication, internet, water, electric, building maintenance/ management fee, house insurance, car insurance, medical, quit rent/ assessment etc)

I just went to a hypermarket (for cleaning product & toilet paper) & pasar malam today,
a bottle of Dettol liquid (1 litre) is selling at RM45.60, detergent powder - K1000 5Kg is RM13.50, Cutie compact 30s rolls is RM42.60, Kleenex 20s - normal roll RM26.80, Garlic is RM7.99/kg
A piece of apam balik is RM3.00 (hawker said he is consider to raise to RM3.50 soon, since everything "naik harga sekarang"... 

hi Cookie, can share with me the place that you take moderate food which cost less than RM6.50/meal in KL, especially, wan-tan mee or economy mix rice, I really very keen to know sincerely, it can help me to save some cost, thank you first.
