Jln Sultan Ismail, this is one of the worst branch.

Went there twice, the staffs there normally super free, but they normally will take their own sweet time to serve you. They will sort of play phone for a while each time before pressing the number to serve you.

When I placed my FD last year, there were a big mess, everything they kelam kabut, everything don't know, cannot find forms, etc, took so long.
Then 1 day later, called me and said they forget to ask me sign a document, ask me to go back the branch to sign. I told them you forgot but expect me to go back to sign? You should bring it to me, then they just ignored, eventually doc not signed.

CIMB actually has one hidden promo, something like "FD retention", which 99% of the staffs are not aware about it. Basically it caters for those who previously placed the 5% FD for 3 mths (can't remember the details), and your FD has matured not more than 2 months from now.

Funny thing is really nobody aware, even branch manager not aware but my friend managed to place it with one RM.

Rate is 4.4% for 12 months.

I'm late as well, only join the long-term bandwagon 2+ years ago.
Last month finally my first 2 years Bank Islam 4.65% p.a. EIR matured.
Another one end of this year.
Final one next year.
Still did not manage to jump into the 5 years bandwagon yet.

The rest are on <12 months FD.

The tiered interest payment all correct? Mine expiring next year, didn't check so far, just remember like every quarter different rate, effective 4.65%

Yes, tiered interest all correct. However, I think if it falls into weekend, it will take the next working day. Refer below for my recent matured one.
