Today went to another BR branch due to nearer to where I am going. Placed another FD there. Got one small face towel with the BR name and branch name embossed. As mentioned by various sifu, gifts are branch specific.

Asked about FD cert redemption, was told more than 50k has to go to the branch that issued the FD cert.

One of the branch that I used asked quite specific questions on where the fund comes from, occupation etc. These were noted down on back of their form. Only this week encountered this from BR.

Yes need wait 2 days ... i called them 2 times also say same story just need wait . Using FPX for E-FD kinda scary . Not sure the money stuck at FPX Gateway or Already entered HLB but they need time to trace the money .Make sure to keep the Receipt / transaction proof    . Update me once u got ur money .

3 US banks have collapsed in 5 days. The reason given is there has been a run on the banks meaning depositors demanding to withdraw funds which the banks are unable to meet. It is a loss of confidence by depositors in the financial survival of those institutions. What was the reason for the sudden loss in confidence? It was the Fed's raising of interest rates by 475 basis pts since the start of 2022. As simple as that. How the US Central banks did not see this coming means the US is manned by jokers.
