It's sad 3.5% is the best rate around. My 4.5% FD is maturing end of this month, have to settle for this 1% less cry.gif

unfortunately a few FD in CIMB matured and auto renewed with 2.6%, so 100k gone over to AmBank instead.

Rates are such a slim picking these days sad.gif

Didn't wanted the hassle of OTC, let alone having to go open a new account in UOB. Plus given the current outlook, I think the longer tenure is good, don't forsee the interest rate going back up so soon.

Done today for AMMB. Transfer out matured eFD and then FPX in again for the offer.

All within minutes so hitches except there was a cap of 30k for each placement, so had to do a few rounds.
