Thanks for info. Do you know how MBSB deal with FD maturity on Sat or Sun or PH? Will the FD date automatically move to the next working day? ie if 8th Feb 2025 matures on a Saturday will the FD straight away to go 10th Feb maturity? Or you will burn the weekend interest?

slighly out of topic - do you think malaysia OPR will cut if US were to cut? or we will just continue with our current OPR since US raises and we did not raise. if we CUT our FD rate will be like around 3.5%

I dont understand... why are the FD rate for over the counter higher than online?

Why are banks encourage us to go to Bank when it can easily be done online?
Is it their counter staffs have nothing to do? Or is it they want many people to squeeze inside the bank to make the bank looks very busy and lively?

Hi have a question here...the interest that I suppose to get frm mature HLB efd is short of 1 cent... different from the selling price stated in bank statement. Should I make a complain?
I called twice and both promised to call back but no news.
Then 3rd time, the CS agent told me to withdraw the day after maturity to avoid certain interest being deducted...I'm quite confused...
