hope they fix it properly, because we only know the final rate after FPX transfer.

also they better patch back to 4.10% for those who placed earlier.
*
Ya, hope so. I guess they would, is either they fix today or next Tuesday. They have to honour back as what they advertised.

Is not the first time I have 'Technical Issue' with HLB, last time when they start use FPX also stuck my transaction... rclxub.gif

Ha.. They really fixing the website now. Just now they forgot to change the colour of 'Apply' tab, and the 'New' at the New Placement there... biggrin.gif

Now is 'on the way'.

Thanks for the staff hard work on holiday, but in future please perform a test before the system roll out...!

Just to share my experience in regards to Hong Leong's CS from a previous FD-related problem. They actually did follow up with me until the problem is fully resolved, including honouring the original FD placement date even though they only managed to resolve the problem after the promotion period. So, not to be too worried for those that are facing the 4.07% problem, I believe they should be able to rectify this problem. Also take note, it might take up to 1 week to resolve the problem (in my case).

Thanks for your info sharing.

Ya. I guess so, is just create the inconvenient for user..

for those affected by the error rate (4.07% instead of 4.10%) from HLB eFD 6 mths in the morning of 1 Sep 2017, update from CS is that they have compiled a list of affected placement(s) and is scheduled to apply the correct rate by today or tomorrow (the latest).

affected customers shall receive SMS notification once the fix has been applied to the affected placement(s).

if by tomorrow the rate is not fixed, call them up.

That is very good deal!

No more fund... cry.gif

Just wonder, if I withdraw the FD promo that placed last week for this is that allow?

Understand that will have no interest for the week, but seems like still worth to go.

fresh fund only...
unless u take out the FD today n place it to other bank today...

i tried before....
my hlbb FD mature on 7oct....the hlbb promo is 1-7oct...
i withdraw the FD n rentas to my mbb
then i FPX to hlbb FD...consider as fresh fund....
*
Understand the rules... Should be no big deal.

Withdraw today, Instant Transfer to other bank.

Tomorrow FPX in, is FRESH fund! rclxm9.gif

Is just small amount only (10k), still considering want to do so... no more bullet...

Your case is still consider withdraw upon mature. I have no experience on premature withdrawal...

good! if my mbb placement not happened, i'll put back in again  laugh.gif
exactly. but 1-2 days would be fine, i think. today uplift from hlb efd, then transfer to mbb savings. tomorrow perform placement OTC.
*
ya, is either competitive or maybe not reach their quota yet... biggrin.gif

OTC very troublesome for me as no branch near my office... else will move some to MBB. Now my MBB no FD, all sit at HLB.... doh.gif wonder any risk sweat.gif

For MBB FD OTC, is that a must to back to home branch for uplift?

I call up, the staff told me can perform a request transfer to saving account at other branch, is that true?

For those who want to place in MBB please take note.
I visit MBB branch today, tell them i want to place FD 4.3% for 15 mth. At first the staff told me have to open Islamic FD account for this branch. That's fine, then tell me is GIA, profit is different, no PIDM...and tell me a lot of form need to fill up. Feel like they don't want customer to place... I almost give up. Luckily I ask another staff next to it, then only tell me, yes, there is another FD promo.. for 4.3%

And ya, i spend almost 1 hour there, fill up Islamic FD form, Customer profile update and one more non-US form....

From what i know that number is depends on which branch you open account, then your efd account will tag there.

Even withdraw all, next time place again still the same account number.

The MBB e-fd promo dont have any fpx function, so "fresh funds"
maybe need IBG or IBFT from other banks to place.
*
Nope. Just uplifted fd cert and place today without any problem.

Just the rate is really not interesting at all.
