from the menu on the left, select Islamic Term Deposit --> PB eTD-i --> Withdrawal

u only deserve that shortfall when they did not calculate as per T&C



when u place the FD/agree to their T&Cs, your interpretation of per annum becomes irrelevant as the contract was mutually agreed upon

assuming RM 100,000 placement on 1 July 2023, maturity on 1 July 2025 @ 4% p.a., interest crediting to account semi annually
eventually, RM 8,000 / RM 100,000 / 2 = 4%

i think that notification is probably up to 2.7% (for longer tenure), the highest board rate from its website

u were quoting a message from June 2023
although no change in br/blr, FD rate has been dropping

for short term, might as well consider gxbank/aeonbank/rize, etc

u do not need a PB account to check the rate
it is published on their website & can be found in the T&C

i would go for Public Islamic eTD instead
